I had a particularly noteworthy experience with the hotel’s staff that truly exemplified their dedication to guest satisfaction. After checking out, I realized I had left my wallet and wedding band in the room. Panicked, I contacted the hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and reassuring. Air Con not working and was told to open window, which was sooo loud with the passing trains. Very transient area. Went to grocery store in evening and on way back saw two different people doing some pretty hard core drugs. No one bothered us but it was a conversation I didn’t want to have with my teenager. Pool was nice and we loved the shower.

Great family hotel!
Great hotel! Brand new and very convenient to the main train station. My only complaint is the warm rooms. Americans love air conditioning and although each room has air, they don’t allow you to set it lower than 75-77 degrees. Everything else was absolutely amazing!!!

The rooms were a great size and had every amenity possible. Noise wasn't a problem being next to the train station. Bed was super comfortable and the staff were super helpful in storing our bags before check-in. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying here.

I really like the location, which makes it super easy to move. Main train station is just a couple of minute walk. Main shopping area is just 15 min walk. What i like the most that the apartment has all the basic amenities needed. Pool, sauna and well equipped gym.

Lovely apartment and really clean. A few scratches on the walls but overall the rooms are well kept. Friendly staff at reception and at the restaurant. We had a lovely meal and food was well presented and plenty of selection of drinks.

Great hotel, but no air conditioning
We stayed for 1 week in the Adina Dusseldorf. The hotel has plenty of upsides: it's near the station, the facilities are great and the front desk staff are warm and friendly. But the air con either doesn't work (just recirculates warm air), or the management refused to turn it on in the building - we were never quite sure which. The room was unbearably hot on the first night and we couldn't sleep, but staff said the air con was working fine and that we should open the windows for extra comfort. We only tried sleeping with the window open once, since the hotel overlooks the police station and railway station, and trains, trams and taxis grind and squeal away all night. After a second night of bad sleep, we were offered different rooms, but the air con wasn't working in either and despite changing rooms we just resigned ourselves to sleeping covered in wet rags to cool down. It wasn't just the rooms either, there was no air con in the gym. Users left the gym door open to the outside to help cool things down. It's a shame, since the hotel is great in every other way. The hotel needs to sort its temperature control problems out, and be more honest with guests about it. That's the only issue we had.
