The facility was fine, but the surrounding area was very sketchy with many homeless people. Breakfast was coffee and hard boiled eggs.

Poor service from Expedia
Loved the hotel. But Hotels.com Expedia really let us down. They "forgot" to send our reservation and payment to the hotel. It took more than 2 hours to straighten up that mess.

I wouldn’t leave a single star, but this is the minimum. We had a bad experience this weekend, we had our whole weekend trip planned, but due to the Microsoft crash that happened our flight was cancelled and we weren’t able to arrive. Even if we did end up getting on the flight we would have arrived at 1am instead of our designated time. The car rental was understanding and we got our money back, but this hotel does not want to work with us and says we should have called 24 hours before, how was I suppose to know this was going to happen? We were stuck in the airport for 8 hrs, I was in contact with the hotel and the employee Erica told us that we could get our money back if our flight was cancelled, which is was. Now the hotel is taking back their word and says they won’t give us our money back because we didn’t cancel 24hrs before. $512.19 is the amount we’re losing in this reservation

We Booked through Expedia and i had to shorten my stay a month before our stay. The website said we would get a refund on the nights not used. I was supposed to have a refund the day after we checked out on the 7th of July. I still haven't refund the refund. The desk personnel didn't know of the early checkout. It was later confirmed that there was communication but over looked by the front desk. No working television for 2 days.

The property was very nice however there is not really a breakfast it was more like a snack bar. I would not count on having breakfast there. The area around the property is a little sketchy but I did not feel like I was unsafe.

The place itself was clean. The staff friendly and helpful. No sundries were available except soap and one small tube of shampoo. No makeup remover, no blow dryer! The building was very difficult to find, back behind other businesses and NO SIGN AT ALL. That alone made this place stink. Driving around and around with Google trying to figure it out. Then if that wasn't enough- the whole area is filled with drug addled homeless people and tents. We felt very uncomfortable leaving our car in the parking lot although they assured they have security- I didn't see anyone but maybe? there was. Should have changed hotels but it was late in the day. The reason I picked this place was it was close to the Expo center. I would never stay in this location again. Don't understand why Portland has become such an uninviting mess!

We made a reservation months ago only to show up and find out they overbooked and gave our room away. Then the staff was very rude, then the supposed “manager” hung up on me when I called to get more information about who to call to fix their mistake. Worst experience ever!!! I will never go back and will tell everyone I know what kind of place it is. Complete trash of an establishment.

Hotel just changed ownership and there are many things wrong. Lots of issues with their parking lot with trash, homeless encampments and folks wandering looking for unlocked or vehicles with exposed valuables in broad daylight. Had to pay for the room again as Expedia does not support the new hotel owner. Many amenities not available or not working like air conditioning in the gym, ice makers all out of order, no bowls for breakfast or milk or juice. Room window was cracked.

The place has just been refurbished and renamed. Lots of homeless outside carpark area. Not safe to walk around. Looks like they also host subsidized tenants. Its a mix of extened stay and casual. Our room appeared good but no facilites , had to ask for a coffee maker. Breakfast very basic but as advertised. While it was ok i would not stay here again due to high number of homeless who appear to have mental health issues. Also the occupant mix doesnt seem right

My overall rating of 3 is based on the fact that the hotel wasn’t really ready to open. The room was large with only one desk chair. No comfortable seating. The manager brought us a second desk chair. We were there three nights so really needed a place to put our feet up. The room lacked a hairdryer and toiletries. The manager did say they were trying to get up to speed. And to ask for anything needed. They just weren’t quite ready, but the manager was accommodating.
