After a long couple of years, we - the owners- are taking back total control of the management and guest services. At this comfortable and welcoming vacation home, you will wake to the alpine glow of a continental divide sunrise after a solid night's sleep in comfortable beds. Notice the crispness of the mountain air as you head out on your Glacier Park adventure just minutes away. If you are not into making breakfast, or you are just too excited for the day, stop at the local bakery just a block up the street or enjoy a "local's" breakfast at Two Medicine diner a block further up the street. Head out to explore the majestic beauty and wild nature of the east side of the park while keeping your eye out for bear and moose and other wildlife on your short trip to Two Medicine Valley, St. Mary or Many Glacier.

Upon your arrival home, notice the cool air provided by the AC unit and get ready for an afternoon/evening enjoying the lawn, picnic table, grill and evening sunset behind the stunning mountains known as Summit Mtn, CalfLooking, Dancing Lady and Mt Henry. Use the well-stocked kitchen for a home cooked dinner or wander up the street to explore the various local restaurants including The Peak, Serrano's Mexican Restaurant, Stageline Pizza or take a nice stroll past the historic lodge to the Whistle Stop - a BBQ joint on the other side of town. East Glacier is a small enough town that walking is a preferred mode of transportation for most.

This house is conveniently located on the east side of Glacier National Park where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. Along with spectacular views, we benefit from fewer people, more wildlife, easy, quick access to Glacier Park entry sites along with trails on the border of the park and millions of acres of wilderness in the Great Bear wilderness and the Flathead National Forest. The contrast of the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains makes East Glacier the most spectacular of places to stay while visiting the entirety of Glacier Park.

If you are not able to get a road pass for a specific date, one can enjoy days on trails in many locations accessed outside the gate and still easily visit Going to the Sun Road or Many Glacier after the 3:00 pm reservation time, especially while sunsets occur after 9:30 pm.

The house is perfectly located near the small grocery store, bakery and various restaurants. With a wraparound yard, bar-b-que and picnic table, a secluded and shaded aspen grove and view of the Rocky Mountain Front, this home will be a perfect base for you while visiting our little corner of the world.

We cleaned with bleach based cleansers for each reset of this remodeled home, one of the very few houses in East Glacier with air conditioning. Located in East Glacier Park just 10 miles from Two Medicine Valley, this house with a view of the mountains has manicured grounds with flower gardens and large lawn. Bordered by privacy fencing, it is beautiful, spacious, private and the perfect location for visiting all of Glacier National Park - just 30 minutes from St. Mary, 45 minutes from Many Glacier and less than an hour from West Glacier.

This house has been transformed inside and out over the last 5 years with interior remodeling, new furniture and landscape upgrades in response to our guest experience. The living room boasts a panoramic Mountain View window for lots of natural light. There is plenty of seating, strong WIFI, Air Conditioning and a 56 inch swivel mounted smart television for stream viewing in living room or kitchen. We also offer a few puzzles, cards and games for entertainment in the home.

The bathroom is freshly remodeled to include a full shower/tub and on-demand (endless) hot water for everyone to enjoy after a long day on the trails. A WASHER/DRYER is also available to help you keep up on vacation laundry.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed as well as its own television. The second bedroom provides a queen bed and a twin bunk for family and friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with the utensils needed to create fantastic meals while the bar-b-que can be used for continued outdoor enjoyment of the Rocky Mountain Front. Else, enjoy a nice walk to a local eatery including Serannos Mexican Restaurant and The Peak both a mere block up the street.
Within walking distance you will also find the local bakery, Two Medicine diner, the small grocery store, the historical Glacier Park Lodge and many other attractions. Our nearest Glacier Park entrance - Two Medicine - is a mere 15 minutes away, while trailheads on park border are also accessible and require no pre-planning.

Fly into either Kalispell or Great Falls for easy arrival in spectacular East Glacier Park. With the new road reservation system, we are happy to provide a location with easy access to plenty of hiking in Glacier National Park and out. Visit the trails near Essex, or the millions of acres of wilderness in the Great Bear and Scapegoat wild lands south of Glacier National Park including the famous Bob Marshall Wilderness. All of these places can be enjoyed on the days before or after specified reservation in the park and for those who do not have a park reservation.

Our local access -Two Medicine- offers my favorite views and hikes in all of the park. The Cut Bank area gives access to Medicine Grizzly Lake among other amazing hikes. Along the eastern, southern and northeastern borders of the park, there are many hikes which rival those in any area and will not require a premade reservation under the new system. I offer direct communication with you to help you with your trip planning and offer a variety of information to access area activities.
