This property is far from most things, so please plan accordingly for your stay.
IMPORTANT: Guests must send a list of parties staying onsite, and provide the ID for your main point of contact. The property has video surveillance. No Parties or events are allowed. Listing description
Nestled in the woods at the top of a mountain overlooking a pond with a small waterfall is a beautiful chalet that sleeps up to 12 adults. The property offers 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds, 1 fold out full bed, 4 fold out twin size beds. *Linens are provided for the 4 fold out beds. This house was designed for relaxing in nature, with superb views of the water and glorious woodland nature. Additional Activities that can be offered are Kayaks, paddleboat, Yoga matts, large board games, nature hikes, sitting in gardens, and picnicking.
The Space
The space is fully furnished for all of your weekend needs. Provides three bedrooms and a large bonus room with fold out beds, and offers an open living room with 2 twin-sized day beds and couches, a dining area. The Master (Queen Sized bed + fold out twin bed), master bathroom. Second rm offers 2 twin beds with an optional fold out twin bed. The finished attic bedroom offers 1 Queen standard and 1 fold-out full bed. There is also a library featuring board games, 2nd television and books. Outside offers a pavilion which has a propane grill, picnic tables, water viewing access, tables perfect for picnicking and relaxing, kayaking, yoga, meditation, and Leaf Peeping. With indoor and outdoor spots for viewing nature, or take a drive to the many local farms like our neighboring lost acres where you can enjoy local farm to table breakfast or lunch, or sit on the porch and take in the amazing views. Come finish the book you've been dying to read. The peacefulness of the space frees your mind to have the calmness and peace you desire. (BEDS = 2 Queen Beds, 4 Twin beds, 4 fold out twin beds, 1 fold out full bed. Kitchen supplies are onsite, tea, coffee, towels, toilet paper, dish soap,and furnished sleeping arrangements.

Guests will be able to access all rooms with the exception of one closet and the garage.
Heating and cooling: The heat has been set to a comfortable temperature of 74, guests can adjust the temperature in each room by using the temperature controls on the wall.Please keep the setting between 64 degrees and 74 degrees. This house has AC in each room.
This chalet offers onsite coffee and tea, essential paper goods, has access to grocery delivery (Instacart in advance) a cooler, a grill and outdoor wood pizza oven, multiple outdoor dining options, and onsite fishing, indoor and outdoor games, woodland trails, water sports, and fields for activities. Local restaurants offer Mexican, American, Diner, Pizza and with a fine dining establishment (CoachStop) as well as a farm to table breakfast at an apple orchard and instacart delivers.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS: Guests utilizing the property at 60 N. Hollow East Hartland Connecticut, Indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the property owner and management team, and their heirs from any and all liability for the Guest or anyone in the group’s use of the property at 60 North Hollow. Guests understand that they are choosing to stay in a natural area, and take responsibility for any use of the outdoor equipment or natural area and home, they fully indemnify the host for equipment and further hold the host and heirs harmless for anything that may result from the guest’s stay or use of of the house and property. The guest will use good judgment and will use personal responsibility as a guest of the property. Guests will leave promptly at check out time and will leave the premises in good condition as they found it. The home owner will be available through phone, texts preferred to respond to questions.
WARNING: Beware of animals and water
Guest safety
There is a large pond in front of the property with a boat launch. There are snapping turtles in the water and other live animals. Please be safe and stay out of the water. If you use boats, use the flotation provided, and please read indemnity clauses you are agreeing too.
Guests (and their pets) will be around or near wild or domesticated animals that could cause harm because of their behavior or size. Guests should avoid animals and use caution. Ex: horse, mountain lion, fox, wolfs, bears, beavers, porcupine
Additional rules
Guests must Submit I.D. to host. NO Parties and NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE. Smoking is allowed ONLY outdoors. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts in the receptacle. Leave no trace we love nature, please be kind to nature at our home. IMPORTANT . Do NOT set the thermostat above 74 degrees or under 64 degrees. Notice: there is NO garbage disposal in the sink, Do not put food scraps down the drain. Be safe and careful with the many local wild animals, (bears, wolves, foxes, beavers, porcupines, otters, snapping turtles) Don't pick any wild mushrooms as they may be poisonous Guests who use kayaks or any equipment provided, agree to accept all liability and hold the host and property manager harmless. Guests agree to respect all furniture and property inside and outside alike and leave no trace.
Directions
This property is up a dirt driveway. Please look for the sign WOODZY B with a wolf howling . Take caution and follow the dirt road to the white house at the top. Park in the spot to the left of the house.
Check-in method
When entering the home please use Keypad
Guests will use the code you provide to open an electronic lock, or The Property manager will meet you to let you into the house between 3pm and 5 pm.
Checkout instructions
Please gather used towels and place towels in the washer, leaving linens on beds.
Throw trash away: carry in carry out is advised in this natural setting,
leave trash inside the mud room or house to avoid bear contact.
Turn things off: please turn off all lights when not in use.
Ensure all stoves are off
Set heat at 64 degrees
Lock up: press the lock button on the keypad when leaving home
Additional requests: please set thermostats to 68 degrees upon leaving. Leave any keys inside the house on the key ring.
