Nice place
Excellent place and location. Great instructions. Very clean and given what we paid for hotels, it’s very reasonable. 2 bedrooms. One bedroom had a queen and single. Other bedroom queen. 2 baths with showers. Nice living area. Lots of towels. No complaints. If you need an elevator, keep in mind you have to walk up 5 steps or so, so wheelchairs might be a problem.

Absolutely loved staying here! Would definitely recommend. We were upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived which was a lovely surprise. It’s right in the middle of everything and feels like a home away from home. The staff were also all so friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay :)

Missing medication and poor customer service
I stayed two nights on the 11th and 12th December this year with my daughter who was in Edinburgh for a job interview. The apartment was good and in a good location. Good amenities. But I left my prescription medication and vitamins in the kitchen area to remind me to take them in the morning, the first morning they were there the second morning when i went to get them they were gone. I reported the matter to reception who told me they would check the cameras and I am still waiting for a reply.

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The entry was rather shabby, but once inside everything was warm and welcoming. It was great value for money for an apartment so close to the centre of Edinburgh

Lovely clean apartment with friendly staff. Unfortunately it is above a nightclub that’s open until 3am and you can hear the music and feel the bass of the club reverberate throughout the building. Not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Great location apart from being above the nightclub!

Noisy but nice
Place was very nice but there’s a night club nxt door and the bass from the club had our apartment in the 2nd floor vibrating till 1am it was that loud so not good if you want to sleep and for the price bit expensive you also have to pay a £250 deposit before they let you in so was a bit of hassle

Nice apartment but BEWARE THE NOISE!
A mixed review - apartments themselves were very comfortable. However, my room was on the second floor and above a pub/club, which lead to considerable noise until 345am - it might not be every night, but I would expect Thursday through Sunday (at least). Appreciate that it's outside of the control of Spires, but contributed to a grim night of little sleep.

We had booked a one bedroom and we’re given a studio. The apartment had not been cleaned, kitchen floor was sticky, chattered glass on the carpet, radiator thermostat head was broken and on the floor. Impossible to close the velux. Hair around the bathroom sink. Lift was not working and we were on the third floor. Other guests came in at 03:30am drunk and making a lot of noise on the same floor as us. Street noise all through the night despite being a Sunday night. Won’t return to this place.

Overall happy with our stay except the check in. The check in process was not good. The apartment was nice and clean. There were fire doors to all rooms that had to be kept close. That was a little strange, but no big deal. Other than the check in, i would recommend this place.
