We absolutely loved staying here. The screened in porch was my favorite spot and where I spent most of my time when not on the beach. Having a morning coffee while people-watching golfers was absolutely delightful. The kitchen was well-stocked and there’s also a gas grill out back, we cooked all but one meal during our week-long stay. Our kids loved the large living room TV and once they hooked their Nintendo Switch up, it was hard to peel them away. The beds were maybe too comfy as the kiddos tended to sleep in late. Speaking of comfy, the living room couch was so comfortable my spouse and kids would not stop talking about it… they still haven’t, actually. We rented bikes to use a shortcut (owners only gate) to the beach and to Pressley’s for a night out which I definitely recommend. The friendly neighbors also made us feel very welcomed which I greatly appreciated. I honestly can’t wait to visit again next year!
Overall our time in Edisto was absolutely magical- we visited the eerie and beautiful Botany Bay, saw a loggerhead turtle make her way back out to the ocean after nesting, and on another night during a new moon we could see millions of stars and even the Milky Way.
Good to know: the coffee maker takes k-cups, I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs, fill up the ice trays upon check-in, and lastly: don’t forget to relax and enjoy your time here in paradise.
