Perfect location for staying downtown, we were attending a show at the starlite room. Everything was walking distance we never needed our car! Short drive to the conservatory which we did check out and enjoyed. Endless dining options around the hotel. Pool and hot tub were clean and quiet.

Lighting in the room was poor. There was an odour in the main lobby. Electrical outlets were not working. Balcony was extremely dirty. Key cards had issues and door did not latch without applying force. The staff were pleasant.

The hotel was conveniently located for my purposes (going to an Oilers game). It was a short walk to Rogers Place and many restaurants and bars. All staff I encountered (two at the front desk, a housekeeper, breakfast attendant) were very friendly. Housekeeping was quick to respond to the one problem I did have, which was a clogged bathtub drain. The beds were comfortable and had several pillow firmness options, the room had several useful amenities (e.g., microwave, fridge, coffee maker, safe), and the A/C worked well.
