Our stay was good, only thing I didn’t like was the first night there was no air mattress. Notified the manager and was delivered the next morning.👍 The entrance is a split entry and the people upstairs have access to this space. Super comfy beds and very clean.

Stayed for a night with a few of my girlfriends, really nice basement suite. Warm and super spacious. 15 minutes from the city, easy access and easy communication with the host. Only downside was noise of kids upstairs, was never a big problem but was stated that we were supposed to be alone.

We stayed with my son's fiancée and her Mom. The stay was comfortable and the property had everything we needed. There were a couple very minor repair items, the doorknob on the master bedroom was broken so we couldn't shut the door when we weren't in it, which was no problem really.

Nice Place but Inaccurate Listing
There were garbage bags piled up all along the side of the house by the door to enter. There was a terrible smell upon entry. Smelled like dirty carpets or animals. There is no door into the unit after you go down the stairs. We had to spend the first hour cleaning as it was very clear it had not been cleaned, let alone sanitized. The carpet coming down the stairs, walls, fridge, counter tops, rugs in the bathroom and kitchen and especially the floors were filthy. The stove top and hood fan seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, if at all. There are young children upstairs that wake and cry from around 8-830 in the mornings. Two occasions during our 3 night stay the smell of food from upstairs was over powering and caused us to have to open all of the windows. The king bed is lovely, the other is hard as a rock. The plates are mismatched and the pictures of cleaning supplies as well as cups, plates pots and pans are not accurate at all. The recliner couch was not working on one seat and the coffee table felt like it was going to fall apart. The lamp was missing 3 out of 4 lights and there was no cable. We are very easy to please, but the reviews and advertising for this unit are completely inaccurate. We contacted the host and were told he would refund the cleaning fee. We had to contact him again for this matter. Also, there was no smoke detector and no door handle on the master bedroom.

I had booked this property on the Vrbo app. It said instantly confirmed. I needed to add another night and messaged the host. I heard nothing from them. Messaged again. Nothing. Contacted Vrbo who gave me a number to call. We called and they had no reservation under my name, even though Vrbo sent me the confirmation email. They said they would provide us with a new property close to the original one. It was not close at all. We declined it as we needed to find a place to stay asap. Ended up booking a hotel. Communication was horrible. I would not deal with this property.

The beds were fantastic. Sleep was great. Quiet, and a quiet area. Host was very nice and helpfull. The only downside is that the fire alarm system is way too sensitive when cooking. The host says they are trying to get this corrected.
