We liked the staff who checked us in and out as they listened to our concerns. There were a couple areas of cleaning like an amazing accumulation of toilet paper lint on the holders. This could have been vacuumed or dusted each day. Obviously not done. Secondly the bed skirt was soiled at the corner. It just needed a wash. The person attending the breakfast area needed to change her gloves or wash her hands after cleaning tables before she handled food. This was not done despite my husband mentioning it several times while we were there.

Overall great stay. Second night, I did not have internet for some reason and was trying to finish an important email. Next morning I asked the front staff about it but they were not particularly helpful or concerned. So, I thought maybe the issue was mine. Later when I stopped at a coffee shop to send the email I discovered there was definitely no issue with my computer and receiving wifi. Was a little frustrating to have to make a special stop for this especially since I had an especially long drive. My only complaint. Otherwise, seamless booking and excellent accomodation.

This hotel is long past due for renovations. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The walls were cracked. The floor was cracked. The shower curtain was falling apart. There was old equipment of some sort piled in the hallway outside our room. We paid and were approved to stay until 1pm but were called at 11:15 to see why we hadn't checked out yet. At that point we just left. Deb at the front desk was really kind and did credit back the surcharge. I have never left a negative review before but we will definitely not be back. I do not know how you ever got such positive reviews on hotels.com. Very misleading.
