Disappointed.
Awful. I accidentally booked a smoking room...got to the property and asked for a non smoking room as I am very allergic to cigarette smoke. The clerk said- since its non refundable that there was nothing she could do. I reached out to hotels.com for help, maybe a refund or get another room in the same town- but they did not help either, even tho I have been a very loyal user for many years, as I travel a lot with business. Very sad and disappointed that no one could help. I ended up booking at another hotel in the same town.

When I checked in the desk worker was on his phone sitting on a chair. Hey was wearing a hoodie which looks so unprofessional and yawning when I was talking to him. Then my key wouldn’t work. Then when I finally got in my room it was not cleaned from the guest before. I went to desk to tell them the worker said he had just checked the room after he had gave me the keys which obviously was untrue.

The service was great. I had to grab a hotel on an emergency basis since my car broke down on the way back to Edmonton. The front desk person let me have a late checkout to deal with the tow person and allowed me to wait in the lobby for my ride. This is especially important since I had my dog with me and it's hard to.find a place inside to wait with my dog.

Fantastic front counter. Sandi recognized me from 2 months ago and greeted me as a friend. The included breakfast is well done and the room is kept very clean by the morning staff.

Last minute stay. Wasn’t thrilled with the area. Front desk staff was unprofessional. Pretty sure he thought our arrival time was ‘4:20’ and could really use a shower. The king bed was hard as a rock and awful.

Good for what I needed
Overnight, last-minute stay so not much seen besides room. Hotel room was very clean, and room amenities were well stocked. Mattress was comfortable but bedding was a thin quilt, definitely could have used another blanket. If it had been a longer stay or even if I checked in earlier, I would have asked the front desk for blanket. Free breakfast was enough to "break the fast" but not much to rave about.
