Hotel staff makes a huge difference !
I’ve now stayed twice in this hotel within the last 12 months! Staff will go a long way to make a difference! Beds are comfy, showers are great! Perfect location to all amnesties, bar is great, can’t fault it! Highly recommended !

Perfect place to stay after a long day of hiking in the rain! A hot shower and comfortable bed was the perfect end to our day. Love the lamps and lower lighting options in the room, too. It makes it extra cozy in there.

Egilstadir isn’t the nicest place in Iceland, but t it’s a convenient place to stop. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner here and it was very good. I would stay here again.

For the price paid, I expected much more. The bed was VERY soft and the pillows were worthless - the bed and pillows need to be replaced immediately. The bathroom shower glass was filthy, with caked on soap residue (the glass was foggy). The bathroom smelled and needs updating. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
