Property was bigger and more modern than anticipated as picture on Expedia website shows small property in side street. This hotel is on a main street, but not noisy at all. Staff were lovely, although when checking in, I feel more information could've been given such as times of breakfast, check out times, what to do if cleaning was required etc. The breakfast room staff were very informative and helpful and there was a range of food options. He's was uncomfortable but lovely pillows, no lid on loo seat which I felt was strange but shower was lovely and warm. An iron in the room would've been handy too and although I did request one several times, it never arrived so I made do without

Perfect location. Close to central station, restaurants, shops, fast food ect. I don’t like the pillows, to hard and a little bit to noisy if someone is in the corridor.

Liked: Centrally located and very short walk to central train station. Disliked: Cramped space in bedroom. Virtually nowhere to sit. Small bathroom with shower above a strangely shaped and very deep bath. Impossible for elderly people to use. The hotel has no bar.

Clever room key on your phone - no need for plastic cards. Loaned me an umbrella in the rain. Bike hire with flexibility - I had it from evebing to the following afternoon and was only charged for one hire. My room had a shower over bathtub..it took a while to run the water until it was hot in the mornings. Kettle, safe, fridge, hairdryer, iron and nespresso coffee maker. No USB ports, just standard plugs.

Disappointing and not worth the money.
I was disappointed with our stay, the pictures on hotels.com are not a true representation of this hotel. Initially walking into the hotel it feels dated and not very clean, especially the lifts and corridors. On entering the room we were surprised by the size however we noticed things were not to standard. There was no handle or lock to the bathroom door, instead a piece of plywood and gaffer tape used to block up the hole where the handle should be. The worse of all though was the smell of urine in the bathroom, it stank! I think it was coming from an old dirty toilet brush?? Also the shower door did not close properly, so it flooded the floor which made it really slippery. The best way I could describe the hotel is a place were groups of lads would stay on a city break. I would not consider this a 4 star hotel as advertised. The hotel car park was also a bit concerning, not secure what so ever, so as tourists we essentially emptied the car. The car park was £20 for the night.

Visiting DAF in Eindhoven.
I regularly stop this hotel and it’s always very well located and good. I have a little whinge on this occasion because the toilet seat was attached incorrectly and the lid not seat wouldn't stay vertical. So for all you me. Out there that pee standing up, you will understand the difficulty.
