The Arcelon was a great spot to be based off f you are happy walking (like we are) and/or taking transit. Barcelona is awesome but very busy in the main sightseeing areas it was nice to be away from that but also be accessible. It would be great if there were more places to grab a meal close by. They do not have a gym for some reason I thought they did. However one of the gyms in the next block gave us a 1 time use free pass.

Stayed at the Arcelon Hotel for three nights. Everything was brilliant- the check in/out, the room’s facilities and amenities, a convenient and plentiful breakfast options, and the use of the hotel’s pool on the rooftop. Though a little way away from some of the city’s major attractions and the beach, the nearby Metro stations (Navas and Clot) mean that you can get to those sites within minutes. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely look forward to staying again!

Had a really lovely stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious and they even put out two additional beds as we were a family of 4 staying in one room. Very well located with 2 metro stops within 10 minutes walk away making it very easy to get around the city. Breakfast had a decent spread with a good variety of options. Our only real complaint is very british ones. While tea facilities are provided no milk is given! So we had to go out and buy our own milk just for our evening cups of tea. Also the cups that are provided are so small that it was nowhere near enough for us and we ended up making tea in glasses instead! Another small quibble was the fact that there was no lock to the bathroom. Easy enough to get around this but we would have found it more convenient and comfortable if there was a lock. Overall though we had a great stay and would recommend

The only staff member that was great was Thomas! Thomas cared and was all in as far as customer service! The others could have cared less, they were busy with their phone. The property, room and pool were lovely. I did not feel safe outside in the area, though it was convenient.

Extremely well presented hotel. It all looked brand new. It is very close to the city center and 5 minutes from a metro station so very conveniently located. There is a good supermarket next door. I didn't find that many good dining options in the immediate vicinity but the metro is a short walk away. Breakfast was extensive: various breads and patisserie, scrambled eggs, charcuterie, sausages, and more.
