Great place, great hosts!
We arrived during the time of Hurricane Helene. our hosts Billie and John went out of their way to notify us that there was no power. They even waited for us to arrive due to the dark roads. They checked in with us daily to make sure we were ok as all cell and internet was out for the week following the storm. They were very welcoming of ourselves and our dogs!

Better than imagined
I was confident booking this place due to description and ratings, but even that was surpassed by the reality of it's perfection. A very pleasant and peaceful place to stay. Pet friendly. My dog and my sisters dog LOVED it! They felt at home right away. Host were super nice and engaged in some good conversations. The AC's they have set up work surprisingly well. I'm from Vermont and 70 degrees felt cold! That NEVER happens in Vermont. I'm not sure how that magic was created. I would absolutely stay here again if travels take me that way and recommend it to everyone traveling that way.

Wonderful Country Farmhouse
If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable home to stay in, then look no further. The kitchen was immaculate and well stocked with items you would need while on vacation. All three bedrooms and the bathroom (with washer and dryer) were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Scarlett, our small dog, loved the fenced backyard! The property comes with two covered porches, fire pit, backyard with privacy fence and plenty of parking. The highlight, however, are the owners: Billie and John. Rarely will you find owners as nice, thoughtful and accommodating as these two. They’re just as wonderful as their country farmhouse! So, if you’re looking for a place to stay while in NE Tennessee, stay here.

Above and beyond our expectations
First off, I have never stayed in a cleaner rental than Billie and John's Farmstead. They make you feel so welcoming with all the little extras they add. Our whole stay there just had that warm relaxing feel. The fenced in area for our dog was a great addition to our stay. He even felt at home! And Billie and John are just the sweetest couple. We will definitely be back to visit. If you're visiting this area, this is the one!

Quite renovated farm house-Welcoming hosts
My adult son and I stayed at Farmstead. The house was newly renovated. Property was well maintained and the house was spotless. The owners stopped by to make sure we had what we needed but did not intrude on our stay. They were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this property if you want a clean, reasonably priced, quiet house to stay in. It was only a 5 minute drive to downtown Elizabethon.

The Sweetest Host
The host communicated with us about how to access the house as we were getting in later than expected, The house was the cleanest house I have ever stayed. She and her husband let us know all of the attractions we could enjoy. They were very helpful in guiding us when ice was forming on the roads up the mountain to Beech Mountain. Also, there were supplies in the house if we had forgotten anything. They also had a very nice fire pit surrounded by chairs where our children enjoyed s'mores! We will for sure stay here again!!

This was by far THE BEST home we have ever stayed in. Billie and John go out of their way to make everything so smoothly. There were a TON of extras that we didn’t even realize we needed until they were just there for us to use. They were the sweetest hosts checking in on us and even offering to let our dog out so we could go to town. This review honestly can’t do them justice. We can’t wait to stay there again!!!
