Sound Escape, Sound Side Studio Condo in Emerald Isle

When you need to get away, Sound Escape is the place to go! This cozy sound side studio condo is the perfect rental for a quiet retreat or adventure filled vacation for singles or couples. At approximately 400 square feet, a maximum of two adults is allowed.

When you arrive at Sound Escape you will appreciate the convenience of parking just a few feet away from the ground level entrance. You enter into a light-filled sunroom with a water view with no steps to climb. The sunroom features a loveseat, rocking chair, Roku TV and library of books and DVDs.

The main room has been thoughtfully updated but keeps the character of the historic building with original knotty pine ceiling. This is where you will find a queen-size bed that has already been made for you, two comfortable recliners, a large swiveling cable TV, dining area and kitchen. There is also a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with range, microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, and Keurig coffee maker as well as dishes, flatware, and cookware.

The full bath includes a jetted tub/shower combo, single sink vanity and ample storage to hold the included towels.

The designer updated unit allows you to experience the best of both worlds – the ocean and the sound. There is a three-minute easy, flat stroll to the beautiful sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. There you can swim, surf, boogie board, shell hunt, fish or just soak up the sun. The thirty second walk takes you to the Emerald Cove private pier into the Bogue Sound/Intercoastal Waterway. There you can fish, crab, launch your kayak or paddle board, but you must take in a view of the sunset – it is the best on the island! The community pool is just steps away from the unit.
You can also relax in the condo with high-speed internet, cable TV, books or games.

The Emerald Cove community includes a 16’x24’ pool, private sound pier, picnic tables and a kayak rack.

EI Well Needed Getaway
Our get away was a well needed retreat from the mayhem of our lives lately. This place was the perfect location - and we loved that we could walk to the left and in seconds be sitting on a pier overlooking the sound at sunset,OR walk to the right and be at the oceanfront in 3 minutes. Beautiful beachy decor and updated kitchen felt so cozy and well suited to our needs. Owner was extremely accommodating allowing us to stay a couple of extra hours on check-out day, since no one was checking in directly behind us. ( Suggestion: The bed could use a better mattress and the doors were extremely difficult to lock an unlock). Other than that, it was PERfect !!!

Property was as advertised and included everything we needed for our stay! We appreciated the snacks & the ice maker in the full size fridge. Located right on the sound and beach access was right across the street and less than a block away. Great quiet location on the beach. Host was receptive and picking up the keys from the property management company was easy.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was smaller than we expected, but it had every comfort that we needed. It was in a great location, a few yards from the sound. The view was awesome. It was in walking distance to the ocean. The area was quiet, peaceful and everyone was so friendly. We have already recommended it to our friends.

Quick and quiet getaway
We have stayed here several times as a family. It is a quiet space with close access to beach and the sound. The beach is about a block walk, but a very easy walk. And, access to a not so busy part of the beach. It is in so busy part of Emerald Isle as well, but still close to some very nice restaurants.
