The hotel is well maintained and clean, beds were very comfortable with nice linens. Looked recently remodeled. Cable which includes HBO etc. The only downside is there are not many restaurants around but it was fine. The pool is small and no air circulation which makes it stuffy and tough to breathe with the chlorine, but the kids enjoyed it. Overall happy with this hotel.

Have stayed here before, and it’s been not as bad as this stay. It’s horrible. Do not stay here. My door lock battery died. Got that fixed. Then man came to clean carpet while I was on a virtual meeting. I told him it wasn’t a good time. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. I had to get off my meeting to deal with it. Later, went out and came back to soaking carpet with my stuff on it and the trash can put haphazardly on the desk with trash all around it. I have MS and am in accessible room. Made the mistake of taking my shoes off. Bc carpet so wet I then slipped on the hard floor by bathroom. Last night, tried remote to put blinds down. Instead the system malfunctioned and blinds went up and wouldn’t budge. Around 1:30 am front desk staff came to try to fix manually. That mechanism also broken. Zero sleep due to glaring lights. Manager on duty says nothing he can do bc I booked through Expedia, and no one knows when she will be available to talk to. Maintenance has come and says there’s a dead battery and could give no estimate for how long charging it will take. While hotel options are limited in bluffton, do not stay at the holiday inn express. They won’t allow you to either work nor sleep. It’s bad. Maybe the gm will do something, but based on my experience, I’m not hopeful. Only redeeming quality in this dilapidated ‘hotel’ has been two kind front desk staff. Avoid this hotel.

Staff was very friendly. Quick to assist when there was trouble with AC. The pool and weight room are small. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Good price, would stay here again.
