Comfortable and quiet house surrounded by greenery with a panoramic view of the salt pans of Trapani and the Egadi Islands. Ideal for families with children, or for couples of friends. It is located in a countryside about 600/700 meters high, 5 minutes by car from the Ancient town of Erice and 15 minutes by car from the city of Trapani, where the coast of San Giuliano is easily accessible. The house consists of a large kitchen complete with accessories, an outdoor veranda where you can enjoy the Panorama, have breakfast and dinner, two bathrooms with shower, 3 bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom, a bedroom with a bed single, and an attic with panoramic terrace, with two double beds. The house is also equipped with a barbecue, deck chairs and tables for outdoor use. It is perfect for lovers of tranquility, relaxation, nature, for those who love walking in the mountains, in the woods and vegetation. 5 minutes from the house is also the Ovovia plant that connects Erice to Trapani in 10 minutes. Beautiful House
Very comfortable, large home in secluded area with spectacular view. The oregano and mint growing wild was an extra treat. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Misleading
The review would be better if the house had, in fact, been three bedrooms. But there was one nice bedroom with queen and one small bedroom with single, then an attic-loft arrangement with two queens that was reached by a five-step ladder -- dangerous at night. The attic ceiling sloped low and it was hot. The views from the house are fantastic, the kitchen and patio large and very pleasant. There is only one dim lamp in the living room. The host does not speak English.

Great place!
We had a great time! The house was located very private with green surroundings and amazing view. The kitchen had all we needed and the house is very spacious. Iā€™m the end we spent most of the time outside on the terrace with a dining table and a hammock. Paola was very quick in answering any questions we had. The only negative thing was the house next door had dogs that was barking during the night which sometimes made it hard to sleep. But we would recommend the house and would book it again.

Amazing views, history and romantic
We were very surprised at how expansive the house was. Wish we had come with friends. That outdoor living space included a bq and a couple of choices of terraces for sun and shade . The kitchen was great and the. 1663 part of the hose had a beautiful functioning fireplace. We hike on a great forest trail (603) into the amazing hilltop town of Erice. Most intriguing was were anymore had been made for Venus - which we looked up at from the house. fantastic . Paula made was so friendly and ready to answer anything with whatā€™sapp. There is no wifi, which made this week stay all the more romantic and relaxing. Wr hope to come back .

Stunning location
This property is beautiful - the photos just don't do it justice. It's a lovely place and I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever make it back to Sicily, I would definitely stay there again! Paola is responsive and even contacted me after I accidentally left a camera memory card. A car is definitely recommended and the road is not for the faint of heart but the view is worth it!

The house was certainly large enough and close to Erice, where there was a lot to see. Our only problem was that it was very cold in the house. They had three electric heaters, but only one could be run at one time without blowing fuses. This would be perfect if the weather was much warmer outside. We would stay there again if it were a warmer weather outside. The large terrace and view was wonderful.

Thank you, Paola, for being a wonderful host. The house had everything we needed and was in a lovely location with views over the sea and landscape. We were a short 20 minute walk to Erice, where I was able to take a course in making cannoli and Casata di Siciliana from Maria Grammatico. What a fun experience!x I would highly recommend this Casa Santa home for a quiet, peaceful vacation.

Perfect location.
A very spacious farmhouse in a quiet location in an excellent position. Stunning views for 10 miles along the Trapani coastline and salt flats and the hilltop town of Erice behind us! Very nice outside areas including a covered patio and a rooftop terrace. House rules - there were none! Treat the house as if it was your own - what a lovely statement to read. 30 minute uphill walk to Erice (quicker coming back down the hill!) Paola was extremely helpful and very friendly; she replies to texts and emails immediately. She even sent several texts to check that everything was okay. We could hear dogs barking during the night but they stopped when it was daylight.

Gorgeous views. Beautiful villa! Lovely hosts!
We loved Casa Santa just down the hill from one of Sicilyā€™s most iconic and beautiful hill townsā€”EricĆ©. You are perched on a hill and can see the castle in Erice and the sea and islands off the coast, This is the casa of your Italian imaginationā€”built centuries agoā€”you can feel the history. Great kitchen and garden areas, 2 bedrooms plus sleeping loft with 3 beds, 2 full baths, pizza oven outdoors, indoor fireplace.....and a lot of ambiance. Very much recommended. Car suggested, as itā€™s a drive up a windy road from Trapani and about a kilometer up to Erice! Erice is wonderful! Home to the most famous Italian pastry shop! Vivenzo and Paola are super nice!

Leider ist der Garten des sehr schƶn gelegenen Hauses ungepflegt und die insgesamt herrliche Aussicht wird von nicht mehr geschnittenen StrƤuchern erheblich verdeckt. Zwei der auf dem Titelfoto gezeigten Palmen sind komplett abgestorben. Viele Pflanzen sind vertrocknet. Die sehr unbequemen Betten und BettwƤsche sind tatsƤchlich stark verbesserungswĆ¼rdig.

Weitblick und Ruhe
Ein wunderbarer Ort. FĆ¼r unsere Vorstellung von einem abseits von Trubel und Verkehr gelegenem geschmackvollen Haus mit Terrasse und Weitblick schien uns dieses Haus genau das Richtige und hat unsere Erwartungen dann Ć¼bertroffen! Ein sehr groƟzĆ¼giges Haus und groƟzĆ¼gige, entspannte Gastgeber! Wir waren Ende August fĆ¼r 6 Tage hier und genossen die frische, kĆ¼hle Luft hier oben (600 Meter). Es ist 4-5 Grad kĆ¼hler als am Meer, die Wolken, die abends Erice einhĆ¼llten, zogen Ć¼ber uns hinweg. Mit den anderen Rezensenten stimme ich in allem Ć¼berein: die StraƟen zum Haus sind kurvig und eng, aber machbar, die letzten 30 Meter Schotterweg zum Haus waren fĆ¼r unser Auto auch unproblematisch, kƶnnten aber herausfordernd sein. Die nahe Strasse ist kaum befahren und keine LƤrmbelƤstigung. Man ist auf groƟem, uneinsehbarem GrundstĆ¼ck, aber auch nicht zu einsam, das Nachbarhaus ist 50 Meter entfernt. Wir konnten wunderbar auf der Terrasse den Blick bis nach Marsala genieƟen, Feigen ernten und haben tƤglich gekocht (die Fahrt nach Trapani zum Fischmarkt war mit 25 Min vƶllig ok fĆ¼r uns), fanden viel Equipment und Grundausstattung dafĆ¼r vor, haben gut geschlafen und uns Ƥussert wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Der Kontakt mit Paola war herzlich und sehr unkompliziert (englisch und italienisch). Wir wollen wiederkommen! Danke!

Erholsamer Landaufenthalt mit gigantischer Aussicht
Wir haben uns in diesem schƶnen Landhaus rundum wohlgefĆ¼hlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns: die gerƤumige WohnkĆ¼che mit schƶnem Geschirr und Mobiliar, die schattige Veranda mit toller Aussicht und grĆ¼ner Umgebung und das bequeme Doppelbett, der riesige SchlĆ¼ssel und die authentische Dekoration. Paola war sehr freundlich, aufmersam um unser Wohlergehen bemĆ¼ht und fĆ¼r unsere Fragen unkompliziert erreichbar. FĆ¼r Interessenten ist gut zu wissen, dass die Anfahrt durchaus anspruchsvoll ist. Die Strecke ist bis auf die Einfahrt selbst komplett asphaltiert und zweispurig angelegt, die Kurven jedoch zahlreich und eng. Nach etwas Ɯbung waren wir dann auf dem kĆ¼rzesten Weg in 15 Minuten auf der Autobahn in 2 Minuten in Erice. Wir vermissen das Haus schon jetzt und hƤtten groƟe Lust nochmal wiederzukommen! Tipp fĆ¼r alle, die selber gerne kochen: Bauernmarkt in Trapani am Samstag vormittag!

Traumhafte Aussicht Ć¼ber Trapani
Wunderschƶnes groƟzĆ¼giges Ferienhaus wenig unterhalb Erice. Die KĆ¼che hat die GrĆ¶ĆŸe eines "Tanzsaales" und ist reichlich ausgestattet, Paola hatte fĆ¼r Erstbedarf Wasser kĆ¼hlgestellt und Kaffee eingekauft, uns immer wieder gute RatschlƤge fĆ¼r EinkƤufe/Restaurants gegeben und mehrfach nachgefragt, ob wir etwas benƶtigen. Das Doppelbett war bequem. 2 BƤder standen zur VerfĆ¼gung. Am spektakulƤrsten war der phantastische Ausblick Ć¼ber die Salinen von Trapani von der groƟzĆ¼gigen Terasse. Es gibt 3 Zufahrten nach Erice, von zweien aus sind es wenige (Haarnadel-) Kurven und ein ca. 20 m SchotterstrƤsschen bis zum Haus. Alle Zufahrten sind Bergstrassen, die spektakulƤrste geht vom Haus aus nach Casa Santa Ć¼ber viele Kurven. FĆ¼r Menschen wie mich, die solche StraƟen lieben, wunderbar, aber man muƟ Bergfahren mƶgen. Wir wollen wieder kommen.

Sehr schƶn eingerichtetes Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht-diese hat ihren Preis in zeitintensiver Anfahrt Ć¼ber eine AlpenpƤssen vergleichbare SerpentinenstraƟe. Letzte 100 Meter Feldweg. Wir haben uns in ā€žOmas Landhausā€œ sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt, dem Ambiente und Preis entsprechend muss man kleine UnzulƤnglichkeiten in Kauf nehmen.
