Lovely house, great location
The house is great, well equipped with modern appliances, lots of nice cookware, glasses, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment. There is airco if you need it, and there is a massive google TV and even a hifi. Two large bedrooms with comfortable beds and lots of bedlinen including brand new pillows. The balcony is very large, with lovely views of the hills, a big table for eating outside and plenty of comfortable seating. The front garden is enclosed, so it's ideal if you have a dog with you. Perfect and we would go there again without hesitation!

Perfect green getaway
Despite the marketing of the ā€œchili peppersā€ of Espellette, The rest of it has so much greenery that is fabulous and calming. Drive safely on narrow roads and itā€™s the perfect vacation. So close to all the other Basque attractions, we will come again.

Amazing Holiday Home
If a calm, clean, comfy cottage, with beautiful rural scenes, within a kilometre of the centre of a lovely small town, is your idea of a holiday, this place is for you. We were delighted with our two week stay. I donā€™t think the photos show how nice the accommodation is, except for maybe the photos of the back deck, which we did not want to leave. The outdoor seating in the front was great, too, and, most importantly for a relaxing holiday, the beds were so comfortable. Philippe was very pleasant, and accommodating.

Espelette farmhouse
We were made very welcome; all the little extras were provided too for our comfort. We made the most of our stay - visiting nearby pretty towns and relaxing in the countryside. It was a welcome break. The property is cool when hot outside as the blinds are very effective. In the evenings we played pool. It is well situated with fabulous views over the mountains and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the town . Worth visiting are: Le Petit Train de la Rhune, Bayonne, the caves at Sare. There are local walks signposted from Espelette. We very much enjoyed our stay in the Basque countryside and the farm was an ideal base.

Accueil sympathique du propriĆ©taire disponible pour rĆ©pondre rapidement Ć  nos questions. GĆ®te parfait pour 4 adultes ou une famille avec 2 enfants. La vue depuis la terrasse est trĆØs belle. Le terrain est clĆ“turĆ©, ce qui nous a permis aussi de sĆ©journer avec notre chien. L'environnement est rural, moutons et poules gambadent tout autour du gĆ®te, ce qui attire les mouches. Nous conseillons au propriĆ©taire de poser des moustiquaires pour un sĆ©jour parfait ;-)

Merveilleux
Nous cherchions un havre de paix et de verdure, cette location nous a comblƩs. Le descriptif est parfait et laisse nƩanmoins une belle surprise car la vue de la terrasse est splendide pour qui aime les espaces et la nature, le son des cloches des brebis et les pepiememts des oiseaux. Nous avons ƩtƩ merveilleusement accueillis et le gateau basque a notre arrivƩe nous a fait grandement plaisir. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location, adresse que nous gardons car nous ne ne nous interdisons pas d'y revenir :-)

Prachtig huis op mooie locatie
Vriendelijke eigenaar die u vooraf contacteert omtrent het inchecken. Zeer verzorgd en zo goed als alles is aanwezig. Unieke locatie, zeer rustig op een boogscheut van het mooie Espelette. Bij de ontvangst lekker Baskisch gebak aangeboden gekregen en drankjes in de frigo. Jammer dat we door familiale omstandigheden vroeger naar huis moesten. Bedankt voor alles Philippe

Perfekter Urlaub!
Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die PyrenƤen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt fĆ¼r AusflĆ¼ge in die PyrenƤen, an die spanische KĆ¼ste (Zumaia) aber auch Biarritz und Saint Jean de Luz sind nur 30 Minuten entfernt. Philippe ist ein sehr netter und fĆ¼rsorglicher Gastgeber! Das Haus ist sehr sauber, mit allem ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet - wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefĆ¼hlt! Die Terrasse ist Ć¼berdacht und man kann auch bei Regen drauƟen sitzen. Abends haben wir gerne auf dem Plancha gegrillt. Wir kƶnnen das Haus uneingeschrƤnkt weiterempfehlen!

Wunderschƶnes Ferienhaus in phantastischer Natur
Wir waren begeistert, alles genau so, wie gewĆ¼nscht und besser. Sehr ruhig und doch nah an Espelette, einem entzĆ¼ckenden kleinen Ort. Die Landschaft ist wunderschƶn und das Haus von Philippe super. Sehr schƶn eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Philippe lief reibungslos, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wĆ¼rden sofort wiederkommen (wenn es nicht so weit von uns entfernt lƤgeā€¦).
