Property was as described. And -- lots of stairs! Of course I had the heaviest suitcase, and my husband had to take up 3 flights. No, he was not amused. The condo was clean and worked out well for our group of 5. We were hoping to see some wildlife, but all we saw were a few turkeys, and once we saw 2 elk in the neighborhood. The sunrise was nice, as was seeing the moon over the mountains.
A few notes that may be helpful. There were no potholders in the kitchen. Made it a challenge when using the oven. There wasn't really enough forks/spoons, and we had to keep cleaning the few there so we could use them again. No Kleenex was there either. A binder with info would be helpful, as it relates to using tv etc. Also weren't sure if we were to take garbage out, since we were there over 1 week. Sent message asking, but never received a reply. Also, there didn't appear to be any recycling. Yes, that drives me crazy. I separated it all and took it into town to recycle bins at visitors center.
The screen door on the front was torn (a lot!) and therefore, we never felt we could leave the main door open, as bugs/moths wanted to join us. We didn't want to be their friend.
The fan in the 2nd floor bathroom sounded like it was dying a slow death. Only used it once, as it was very loud and sounded as though it may 'blow' at any minute.
When using the washer, and putting it on cold water, the water still came out hot. Tried switching it to hot, thinking they may have been switched, but that didn't seem to help much.
A key pad for the garage door would be quite helpful.
Wi-fi always worked without any issues.
If you will be shopping at Safeway for groceries, which is pretty much your only option, I suggest you get a Safeway card. It will save you quite a bit of $, and then you get rewards too. We got 20 cents off our gas after hitting 100 points (I think). Well worth getting the card, and not paying "tourist" prices. :-)
We would stay here again if in the area. We liked how close it is to the entrance to Rocky Mountain, and not having to go thru town to get there.
