Cozy Cabin with large dock on the Lake, Stunning View!

Welcome to Eagles Nest! Our family saw this unique little home in 2020 and immediately fell in love with the view of Tims Ford Lake. We envisioned this as a place for families and friends to get some fresh air, enjoy each other and the incredible nature surrounding them. The inspiring views and scenary makes the atmosphere of this cozy cabin perfect for a weekend retreat.

This is the perfect location for great fishing, kayaking, swimming and exploring. The property has a large double-decker dock that can host your own boat or a rental. We have water year-round, and the fishing is great! We are 4 miles from the city marina boat ramp.

One of our favorite spots is the cabin's tiki bar, located in the middle of the deck's levels. There you'll find a grill, a TV, a fridge and a sink for food preparation, enjoying a drink outside, or just sitting peacefully and admiring the view.

*We do recommend this property for adults and older children, as there are several sets of stairs on our multi-level deck, a spiral staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs, and a dock/bridge over water that's usually 60-70 feet deep year round. Please feel free to message us with any concerns.*

Our group of 7 stayed here for 3 nights. The owner was super gracious and allowed us to check-in earlier so we could get our vacation started sooner! One thing to note: there is an inflatable air mattress apparently in one of the room’s closets downstairs. We had no clue until we opened the binder on our last day to re-read check out rules. We had a family member sleep on the upstairs couch before that, and it wasn’t uncomfortable, so we made do! There was everything we needed- laundry supplies, condiments, sunscreen/bug spray, seasonings, you name it! I have never seen such a well-ran vacation so rental! They even had a cute tray of snacks, along with a beautifully scented candle we ran the entire duration to relax us even more. If you plan on leaving your boat trailer at the property, please note that there is loose gravel on part of the driveway. Our truck + trailer tires didn’t have much grip on the loose rocks and left some ruts we had to cover back after we finally got it rolling. The boat dock + multi-level deck were super clean! One of the kayaks has a broken backrest while the other kayak’s backrest leaned a bit too far back. The canoe was a hit, though! Just gotta clean out some of the webs & go have fun! Make sure you definitely jump off the upper level dock if you’re an adrenaline junkie!!! So much fun! There are so many memories to be made at this property, and whoever you go with, I promise you will have loads of fun! Thank you for such an incredible stay!

Girls trip to celebrate a big birthday! Friends and family came from many places to have fun. We brought our boat and it was great having the boat dock. Beautiful home with gorgeous views! Highly recommend!!

Decks for days
4 adults and 4 teenagers shared this space for 4 nights. Very well stocked and super excellent location. With all the monster houses being on Tim’s Ford, Eagles Nest is reminiscent of a lake house of years past. It is not fancy, but it’s really comfortable and the deck and dock frickin nail it. Good times.

The house and property are amazing. Very beautiful with lots of decks and outdoor space. The Kayaks are not in the best condition and seat backs were broken. Pics do not do it justice. Stunning views. There was a crew next door building a deck. Loud saws going all day. That was not really a problem for me but the loud music they were playing was. It was so loud we could hear it inside the house. I went next door to ask them to turn it down. They were polite but ignored my request. Contacted owner and he said he would notify that properties owner. It stopped for that day after a few hours but started up the next day. Kinda of ruined the peacefulness of the lake. You could even hear it from the middle of the lake. It was very disappointing. From the looks of the project the crew will be there for a while. But if loud obnoxious music does not bother you, it is a wonderful place. That is really my only complaint, but it was a big issue.

Perfect lake property!
Our family, and brothers family (4 adults 3 children) stayed here for a week. What a blessing. Booking from 400+ miles away and showing up to this home was a relief. We enjoyed everything from the house down to the dock. The kids loved jumping off the dock, swimming and fishing. Kayaks and a canoe are available but we didn’t take advantage because we brought a boat. Fridges and seating on every level from the dock to the upstairs of the home. Incredible! Don’t cheat yourself. It is exactly as advertised. Also, every cleaning supply, or towel, or even a blower for the fallen leaves is there. We will be back.

Perfection on the water
Tims Ford Lake is such a beautiful lake. To be able to sit amongst many tiers of decks at this house are just breathtaking. We spent most of our time outside, even during aome rain. Enjoyed the tiki bar area and grilled several times (propane by the tiki bar). The house is very clean. 2 levels so groups can spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and anything we forgot, it was also at the house. Pictures of this place dont do it justice. Any issues we had, were well communicated and addressed by the owner. When we first booked this house, there was only review. We are so glad we booked it anyway. We visited the Jack Daniels Distillery during our stay and that was a 30 minute drive from the neighborhood. Very quiet setting. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot, great time
We really enjoyed our time at the Eagle's Nest. There are lots of places to be together as a group or spread out for some quiet time. Place was overall clean and well stocked inside and out with most everything. Great views, very private.
