The Riverpath Inn, has 7 bedroom and 5 bathrooms with a large, kitchen, dinning area, living room, game room and sauna. This is an ideal location for large family reunions & group activities. There is a main level deck with a BBQ grill and enough private parking to accommodate 5 compact cars.
Eugene is distributed along the banks of the Willamette river just steps North from the Riverpath Inn. There are more than 16 miles of wide, mostly smooth sidewalks along the river front. Many dozens of additional miles in mulched jogging trails and hiking paths make tributaries from the main line.
Without getting back into a car you can start by exploring; Sladden Park, The Owen Rose Gardens, Maurie Jacobs Park, Skinner Butte, Valley River Center, the Delta Ponds, Washington Jefferson Skate Park, University of Oregon, Autzen Stadium, Elevation Bouldering Gym, Bounce Gymnastics, all within a 2 mile radius.
If you want to get out a little further we definitely recommend exploring the Ruth Bascom trail system. This path allows you to travel North past the Valley River Center bridge over the Owosso bridge all the way up to the North Delta Highway. Heading South past the Valley River Center pedestrian bridge you’ll first pass the Peter DeFazio bridge and Alton Baker Park, then past Autzen Stadium to Knickerbocker Bridge and all the way to South D Street in Springfield if you like.
You can find more great hiking and exploring at Mount Pisgah and there are spectacular views available for those who make it to the top of Spencer’s Butte.
Fox Hollow Trail, Fern Ridge Trail and Amazon Trail are also great ways to explore the greater Eugene area.
