We are situated in a pastoral setting, minutes from Highway 101 and equidistant from the cities of Eureka and Arcata (approximately 10 minutes from each). Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, or a family vacation, we offer all the amenities of home and then some!

Our two-story redwood home is surrounded by an extensive deck, perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring the North Coast. Prepare a meal of fresh, locally caught seafood and organically grown produce in our well-equipped kitchen. Let the sounds of nature lull you to sleep while you repose in a spacious bedroom with quality linens. Both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings - one with a king bed and the other with a queen and twin bed. The downstairs office provides a quiet space and hosts an ottoman that opens into a comfortable single bed.

Serenity in the redwood forest
My husband and I absolutely loved this charming house. The beds were so comfortable and the owners have thought of everything. With the seclusion provided by the surrounding trees it felt like we were the only people in the world. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Cozy getaway in the redwoods
We arrived to a super clean house. Windows open for fresh air. We slept with the widows open and let the cool breeze run through the house. Wake up to birds chirping outside. Redwood heaven!
This property is amazing, just perfect! My family and I were in town for a family wedding, and this place gave us plenty of room to spread out. The decorations are so cute, it is so warm and inviting. The outside property is gorgeous, we even had a mama deer and her baby come and eat the grass outside every morning. It was so fun to watch them! If I am ever back in this area again, I would definitely rent this property. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely PERFECT - close to everything but felt remote
We couldn’t be happier with our stay at this gorgeous home! It is so conveniently located a few minutes from 101 between Arcata & Eureka but up in the forest surrounded by trees & beautiful landscaping. Great home base for exploring Redwood NP to the north and Humboldt Redwoods SP to the south. Lots of great hiking trails just 10 min away too. First time we’ve been to a rental that had any instruments let alone both a piano and guitar. Great outdoor areas to soak up nature and great views inside too. I loved the combination of antique (eg claw foot tub) and modern comforts including great WiFi. The kitchen had everything too! Communication with owner/mgr was easy and prompt! Would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return!

Beautiful hidden forest cabin
The house was beautiful and the grounds were all green and forest and flowers. Our favorite part was the large kitchen where we made all our meals. The bedrooms had gorgeous views through unique windows and the beds were really comfortable. The hosts were pleasant and always responded promptly.

Amazing Get Away!
What a wonderful and cozy place to stay! The home has everything we could possibly need, in the middle of all the trees! The kitchen was well stocked, the couches and bed were very comfortable, and the heat worked great! I loved the claw-foot bathtub and sitting on the back deck looking out to all the trees. We also loved the location, being so close to Eureka and Arcata, but feeling out in the country at the same time. Thank you so much!!

Beautifully Tranquil House in the Redwoods
I am SO happy we were able to stay in this wonderful home nestled amongst the redwoods. Perfect for me and my family to use as a base of operations for getting out to visit and reconnect with friends and family in the area. We did have a few issues with our stay. Apparently there was a " SCHEDULED 7hr pge maintenance" on our 2nd day. We were not notified by the owner until 8am that same morning. Which meant no utilities/power/water (showers)etc. all day. Upon returning to the house (5pm) after our day, we still had no water! I feel that if this was a Scheduled Maintenance we needed to be informed sooner that the day of! Regarding this inconvenience I feel the owner could have offered to compensated us in some way or even apologized for this inconvenience, we received neither. Also, the downstairs shower really needs to be updated. the shower head would not stay in one position. There were no safety/grab bars in the stall, this really is a safety issue! This is my our second time using a vrbo, I would not stay here in the future.

Wonderful retreat
Our family stayed in beautiful Redwood Haven during our daughter's graduation weekend. What a peaceful retreat it was, a wonderful reprieve from our city life! The property is hemmed in by gorgeous, giant redwoods; we enjoyed morning coffee and sunsets daily from the deck with only the sound of birds and nature, so relaxing! We also enjoyed the immense selection of books in many rooms. The home had everything we needed for our stay and Teresa was a wonderful host with some sweet personal touches. We will treasure our framed leaf and hope to be back again in the future! Thank you for sharing your special place with us.
