This cabin…is what dreams are made of. My friend and I had the privilege of staying at Lorena’s home for 4 days, and it could not have been more perfect. The landscape, pond, privacy, sounds of the stream, deer grazing by, the stars at night…it was perfect. The cabin itself is so cozy and comfortable, it really felt like a home away from home. Every day, I fed the fish in the pond (big trout!), sat on the rocking chairs to read my book, and ate a snack or lunch outside at the picnic table by the steam. I even brought a travel hammock that I hung between 2 trees that sit perfectly next to the stream. And in that hammock, I had the worlds best naps.
Honestly, this was everything I had hoped it would be and much more. We drove to Glacier park 3 days while we were there (even all the way over to the Many Glacier area = 3 hours away), and did not regret staying further away because this cabin and property was just that amazing. It’s really tranquil perfection. FYI- West Glacier main entrance is only 80 min away, so very doable. The Kootneai National Forest surrounds their property and it’s an incredible place- worth the many hikes!
We met Lorena both when we checked in and when we checked out, and she couldn’t have been more welcoming. She was always available if we needed to chat with her or ask a question. It’s so nice when you know that the owners are that caring and want you to have the best experience.
I can not wait to come back here. I could feed the fish, and sit on the rocking chairs all day long, and still not be bored.
If you’re lucky enough to find this place open to book- don’t hesitate.
Thank you, Lorena and Rosebud Cabin ❤️
