The Basin is in the heart of Eureka. You can walk 2 blocks in either direction and hit ALL the cafes, diners, and shops. Downtown literally starts with The Basin and works out in both directions. The free shuttle was always 90 seconds or less from picking us up when we did need it. The 1905 spa was amazing, but if you plan to use it go ahead and book what you want before you get there because they book up fast. Eureka Springs is such an amazing place!

It is a historic and old hotel (>100 years) so have to set expectations accordingly. Once you do you'll thoroughly enjoy the charm and character of this glorious hotel. Staff is super friendly, helpful and most have worked in the area for years.

I feel the rooms could use some attention such as peeling paint above shower which itself needs some love. Poor lighting over sink. But overall we enjoyed our stay we enjoyed the location and the experience to stay at such an iconic hotel

Very old building, nice big bathroom, everything else needs an upgrade. You can hear everything from one floor above and the mattress is terrible as well as the pillows. Parking lot not accessible walking so you have to ask for a shuttle.

My wife and I were married in Eureka 7 years ago and decided to come back for our anniversary. We loved the Basin Park! My favorite staff was a friendly lady who worked at the front desk at night named Diane. Anytime we needed a ride she would call the shuttle and they would show up right away, we needed Tylenol she had it! Thanks Diane!

Beds & Pillows
Due to an auto accident n 1972, I had a really bad whiplash which left my neck straight rather than natural curve. I have to have support for my neck when I sleep & due to the pillows being too large, I wasn't able to support my neck which caused me to have a really bad crick in my neck. The bed was also too hard, that is my only negatives - everything else excellent. I have been to chiropractor for the last three days since getting home trying to get my neck back to normal. I usually do not get cricks but this time I got a severe one because the pillows & bed was way too hard for me personally.

Old and charming
Loved the staff, gal at the restaurant hostess stand was overwhelmed and her sharp tongue displayed that. Food was mediocre but the view was spectacular. Wait staff was excellent. Room was VERY old (toilet was uncomfortable and wonky as that should be an easy fix) and the shower, well you cannot be a big person or you are in trouble. The hotel has great charm and for an old building it has all the character but it does need a total remodel. Location is so perfect and would I stay there again I would say a definite yes! Walkable everywhere and the shuttle from their parking lot to the hotel was excellent! Great place to stay.

When thinking of a stay in Eureka Springs two hotels usually come to mind immediately; Basin Springs and Crescent. For this stay Bikes, Brews, and Blues were in town. Basin Hotel has an awesome balcony for listening to live music in the amphitheater next door while enjoying a drink or snack. The hotel is right in the middle of all downtown activities without having to hike very far.
