The Bungalow Fraser Island

Welcome to The Bungalow on beautiful K'gari. We are located at Second Valley Eurong on the Eastern beach. The Bungalow is a leisurely 200m stroll to the beach and only 400m to Eurong Village with hotel, resort bar, bakery and shop. The Bungalow is a quaint two bedroom cottage, comfortably accommodating up to five people – perfect for couples or small families. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with the second bedroom containing a double bunk bed and trundle underneath which fits snugly beside the double bunk bed when rolled out. The combined kitchen/living area is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, gas stove, large fridge/freezer and television/dvd player. There is a separate bathroom, toilet and laundry area adjoining the kitchen. The house is solar powered and as such, small electrical appliances such as phone chargers are permitted. Hair dryers and straighteners, portable fridges and coffee machines are not permitted due to their large power requirement. The Bungalow is designed to suit our Queensland climate with a large open timber deck and an additional concrete undercover BBQ area, perfect for outdoor entertaining. The house is fully screened for your comfort with louvers throughout to capture cooling sea breezes and tinted for privacy. Please note that linen is not supplied and must be provided by tenants – sleeping bags will not suffice for linen. Tenants must supply their own sheets, pillow cases, towels (bath and/or beach), tea towels and bath mat. If preferred, linen and towels can be hired for an additional fee of $33 double/queen bed and $22 single bed. This includes sheets, pillow cases and towels. Please let us know at the time of your booking. Pillows, pillow protectors, mattress protectors, doonas and extra blankets are provided. Check in is 2pm and check out 10am. Eurong Second Valley is a private enclave in a quiet bush setting protected by a dingo safety enclosure. Dingoes are part of the natural habitat on K'gari and it is recommended that children are monitored by adults at all times when enjoying the sights of the island. Tenants are requested to be mindful of residents and holiday makers in this quiet valley by keeping noise to a respectable level – especially at night and early morning. Parties and loud music is prohibited. From the Bungalow, you have easy access to all the attractions of World Heritage listed Fraser Island, including the magnificent inland lakes (McKenzie, Birrabeen, Boomanjin), Eli Creek, Maheno ship wreck, coloured sands, Champagne Pools and further north to Indian Head. We hope you will enjoy your stay at The Bungalow. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary to get to The Bungalow as well as to explore Fraser Island.

Beautiful Bungalow
This is a lovely little cottage ideally situated in Eurong Second Valley which is handy to everything. Loved it. Sadly we had to wash cutlery & the drawer before use as it was dirty. Several knives are bent over at the tops. Also my sister got no sleep as the blanket was so dusty it set off her allergies..

A nice area and a comfortable property to stay in.
The stay for only 2 nights was enjoyable. Small improvement could involve more than just one less full roll of toilet paper for the first day for 4 adults

The Bungalow at Eurong
This is a nice tidy little house at Eurong, walking distance from the restaurant and bakery and close to the beach. Excellent sized fridge and I like the louvers right around the house and flyscreens. Very comfy.

Great house in great location
House was perfect for us - two couples. Lots of space indoors and outdoors. Location is close enough to Eurong village to walk but far enough that the buses and crowds do not come by. Communication and assistance from Tanya was excellent.

nice place, no privacy
Nice little house, but there were no blinds or curtains in the main living area, so at night the whole neighbour hood can see you. Plus the bathroom is located outside the back door with no security door on the laundry, so at night it is not safe. Also the back security door opens out, against the way you want to enter the house, which make it very hard to bring your gear into the house. I would stay there again, but only if the windows had blinds or curtains on them.
