Cozy cabin in the woods

Charming post and beam rustic built cabin with modern amenities. Located in the middle of the pere Marquette forest. Cabin sleeps 6, has 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths. Located in a very secluded area for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. Just 7 miles north west of Evart mi. Overlooks a bluff. This property is on a dirt road. We own 100 acres at the cabin site for you to explore, plus tons of side roads seasonal roads and state land for exploring. Located 3 miles from the Evart Motorsports trail. A short drive on a dirt road gets you to the Evart trails to enjoy your ORV, side by side, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. We have a nice outdoor fire pit, and we supply the wood for you to have a bonfire. A really nice secluded cabin for your getaway. Cabin was selected by mlive as one of the top cabins in Michigan.

Must love dirt roads lol
Dogs looooved it, we took lots of walks on the trails. We took them swimming at Wells boat ramp and Chase Creek BBQ is amazing. Had a peaceful time in the forest.

Great Escape
We had a great weekend and plenty of sleeping arrangements. I didn’t even read about the pinball machine or jukebox but they were a nice edition. Dogs absolutely loved the trails and remoteness. The only suggestion I have is put out a sign or mailbox as we drove right by it. Thx and hopefully we’ll be back

Ive stayed at several locations that give me easy access to ORV trails and this is now one of my favorites. Besides location, the cabin is well equipped and well maintained. Todd is super easy to work with. Overall great experience and will stay longer next time!

Wonderful getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We had a great time hiking in the area and relaxing playing music on the juke box, playing pinball and board games. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. Accommodations were everything we needed and Todd was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Perfect get away
My husband and I wanted to hid away from life for a couple of days. This was the perfect spot to do it. The cabin was clean and quiet. The juke box was a ton of fun. Todd was a great host. Couldnt have asked for a better escape in the woods

Blessing after Chaos
On the way there we totaled out car. In a pond! Yet we were welcomed and even got help emptying out of car. We were bought over eggs, (Since ours were ruined). Checked on daily to see if we needed anything. But this place was Amazing an exactly what we need to save the vacation! So relaxing and quiet and has Everything you need plus more! We even got a fire going in the snow! I will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays! 20 stars!!!! Thank you so so much for your hospitality and Kindess!

Quiet setting
It was a very quiet and peaceful three days. We enjoyed the wooded area and the trail. However we got a little lost and ended up on 9 Mile rd and walked back on the road. It would be nice to have trails clearly marked with directional signs. We would also suggest a couple small lamps in the tv/couch area. The overhead bright lights were a bit much for evening time. The snow this morning when we left was beautiful! Thank you.

We spent our 18th anniversary at the cabin in the woods with our furkids. Beautiful property! We all enjoyed the quiet and the hiking trails. The jukebox and pinball machine was a lot of fun also. The beautiful Christmas tree was the tallest indoor tree I’d ever seen and an unexpected bonus 🎄

I've never been surprised by a listing being BETTER than in the photos, but this place absolutely is. The cabin, and it's location, are perfect. Todd was great with any questions we had, he is very responsive, and you can tell he loves the cabin too. We arrived to a warm house, with the pellet stove burning and a beautifully lit Christmas Tree. We brought our 10 year old Yellow Lab with us, and she didn't stop wagging her tail for the entire two days. Onsite trails, being able to cook in a full kitchen, the wonderfully giant jacuzzi tub, and even the couch are just a few things that make this place perfect. We will absolutely be back!

Our number one spot when we stay north!
This is our second time staying here. Its feels like home. Our children love staying here. The pinball machine and juckbox are always a hit. Beds are comfortable. Our littles love swimming in the tub. The house is well stocked. Love having access to a washer and dryer! We will be back! Thank you so much to todd and his family for the beautiful place to stay!

Perfect remote getaway
My wife and I were looking for a quiet secluded place to take a break from our everyday lives, work, and child and Todd’s place was perfect for us. It was very quiet in the area. It was nice going on a hike and knowing we wouldn’t see anyone at all. The house was great, very clean and it had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was awesome, fast and didn’t have a single issue. Todd was very nice and communicative but didn’t bother us at all once we got to the house. We had no issues so didn’t need to reach out to him for anything. The fire pit was great. Plenty of firewood and fire starters. Outdoor chairs in the shed. Lighter in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes and utensils. The jet tub was great and there were plenty of towels that smelled great. We would definitely stay here again, this was an awesome getaway that we needed desperately.

Fantastic getaway that’s “away from it all”!
Stayed here for 10 days. We wanted something in the woods so this was perfect. Surrounded by trees this house offered us the relax and recharge we were hoping for. We can’t say enough wonderful things. The host has a beautiful outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood & chairs. The back deck has a large gas grill, table, and chairs to enjoy the view with. There are a few nature trails out back to enjoy a short hike. Inside there’s s a washer, dryer & dishwasher. The kitchen has everything you could need. There was coffee & filters, laundry soap, dishwasher powder, salt, pepper & spices, aluminum foil, plastic wrap & a handful condiments in the fridge (I recommend taking stock of items available before grocery shopping) The downstairs bathroom has the biggest jet tub I’ve ever seen & offers a lovely view of the woods while you soak. There were plenty of clean towels and hand soap provided. There’s a large glass-block walk in shower as well. The beds were comfortable pillow top mattresses, and the AC window units in bedroom windows cooled things off nicely on the warm nights. There’s also a half-bath upstairs. The main living area has a comfortable sectional couch, and a large smart TV with Wi-Fi. There is also an awesome vintage pinball machine, and a juke box that plays 45’s. There were plenty of credits on both machines when we arrived, but If you’re traveling with kids bring a roll of quarters :) Todd and his family are wonderful hosts. We will visit again.
