I had just driven 10 hours to pick up my son from a situation that was not safe for him and this was the only hotel with a reasonable rate that night. Upon checking in everything seemed fine. I asked the lady that checked us in if we needed to add the additional guests in the rooms names to the reservation to avoid any problems throughout the night After she leaves, she Told me no. She handed me a paper that I needed to initial stated that those were the rules of the property. I read through them. I initialed them. She gave me keys to the room myself, and my friend went up to the room while my brother went to pick up my son. my brother had a key to the room as well as a parking pass for his vehicle and I didnāt foresee any problems for when they returned. But boy was I wrong! The boys returned after 11 PM when the night auditor had taken shift his name is Montell. He was not allowing them to the room , without showing some form of identification, my brother showed his ID. However, my son did not have one because he was just robbed everything that he had including his ID. I came down to the desk to try to rectify the situation & during that time Three different women came in & not one asked to show id as they came in. If this isnāt discrimination I donāt know what is. They wonāt refund me either because they canāt reach management!
