Central, good atmosphere , very close to the concert venue. Staff more than helpful. Only issue was that the bar closes at 11:00pm. so we had to go elsewhere for a drink after our concert.

Wonderful stay here, Friday 21st June, 2024. Cosy room, with all the facilities we required. Our room overlooked the river and outside drinking/dining area. This can be noisy, but it’s happy noise, adding to the atmosphere. We stayed one night as we were seeing a band at The Picturedrome, couldn’t be better placed for that. Great central place to stay for any other reason, too. The food we had was gold star stuff in our opinion, we had a dirty burger with sides a plaice with samphire, caper & pepper dressing -both wonderful. The thoughtfully provided hot chocolate and biscuits, was a quick post gig supper and the included breakfast was fantastic! I’m still full from it, while writing this, several hours later. Gorgeous. Really enjoyed our stay at The Bridge. Good security, entrance provided by Ring doorbell and night porter, after 23:00hrs. We would book to stay again.

Comfy beds, but the room was tired and very small. The electric shower over the bath was hit and miss, very hot then cold and no water pressure. Nice smelling products provided.

Friendliness and efficiency of all staff made for a very welcoming and relaxing stay. The room was comfortable with everything you could need and we enjoyed the lovely view of the town. The breakfast was super tasty and beer good. A great location for our winery tour and walk around Digley reservoir - brilliant weather too!

June to watch From The Jam - Picturedrome
The hotel itself was excellent, clean and very welcoming. Drinks choice was good if a little pricey but not overly. Disappointed thst breakfast started at 8am on a Saturday as I had to leave early to catch a train and missed it but this was the only thing as a miniscule blemish on a great stay

Staff are great and went out of their way to ask if a couple wanted to swap their twin room for our double. Room was very dusty on windowsill and other surfaces. Milk stains on the furniture that had the tea facilities and generally not well cleaned. Bedding looked like it had been hurriedly thrown on, same with towels. Breakfast was really nice with friendly staff again.

Good location centre of town. Staff all warm and friendly. Food was fantastic, both the meal at night and the full English in the morning we could not fault. The room was the standard size, wow it was so small the door only half opened due to the bed being in the way, would go for a larger one if I’d of known. Carpets everywhere were dated, brown and tired, and need refreshing.

Lovely traditional hotel and inn. Staff very obliging and professional. The room wasn't the largest but very comfortable. Would recommend it if you're visiting the area. Holmfirth is also very quaint and easy to wander around with a good mixture of shops and pubs.

The room we had (no.32) was ‘pokey’. We felt the meals, coffees etc were expensive- the same as London prices. The receptionist did not explain very well how to get into the hotel’s car park, using the Picture Drome as a significant point. You don’t see it until you have passed it. The people coming out of the night club were noisy until 2am affecting our sleep. We wouldn’t recommend it to friends and we come to the area annually and will be unlikely to stay again
