Beautiful Blue Bungalow on The Lake

You won't find a more beautiful or peaceful cabin centrally located in MI. The Blue Bungalow has a double lot on Lake 13 with a dock, firepit, kayaks & bbq. Fully remodeled in 2019, w/ 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room & bathroom upstairs. Walk-out basement (accessible w/ outdoor steps only) has 2 beds, full bathroom & sitting space.

Two bedrooms in the upstairs- one with a queen bed and one with a full and a twin. Bathroom and full kitchen. Living room overlooks the lake.

Walk-out basement has a fridge, two twin beds, table with chairs, sitting area and full bathroom. There are no interior stairs to access the basement from the first floor.

The dock provides great fishing and kayaking access, but you'll want to go further into the lake for swimming as the area around the dock is mucky. (Please note that the dock is pulled out in the winter season Oct-Mar)

Hot tub is private and ready for you to warm up this winter!

Wifi is available and there are smart TV's in the upstairs and downstairs for you to access your streaming apps of choice.

Small but good location! I went with my partner and it was perfect for us. Host is very communicative and helpful, and the house is overall well-stocked. It is *just* off the highway (literally right there) so it's easy to run out to get anything, but it also means it's not the most private as anyone going to the lake will pass by the house. I'd still recommend it though, we had a nice time!

Very nice home with access to lots of nature in surrounding areas. Hosts guided us to hike at nearby Deerfield Nature Park, which was an AMAZING hike to take in the fall. Warming up in the hot tub afterwards was such an added delight. Very clean space. Hosts put a lot of thought into little extras for a nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bungalow! It was quiet and relaxing. The host was very responsive and tended to our needs. Kayaking around the lake was so peaceful. It was a great mini getaway for us, our dog enjoyed himself as well!

The house was very nice, the downstairs area stayed very cool and both downstairs and upstairs had a great view of the lake. The lake itself was a little mucky with a lot of vegetation in it, but having access to the kayaks was very nice as it let us get to any part of the lake we wished. Farwell is also a very nice location, being not too far away from several nice destinations, and we loved The Nest diner that was nearby. The only real complaint I would have is that I was charged a $100 cleaning fee and yet was still expected to do the dishes before we checked out. Seems like that would be included as part of the $100 dollar fee.

First of all . Communication was A1 with Riki. Property is beautiful!! We used the kayaks everyday , hot tub & grill . The house has a lot of space to sleep guests. Very clean & put together. 4 mins away from a dollar general so if you forget anything like we did lol ! We had breakfast at the nest in Farwell (great food) && tried dairy Phil’s in Clare , Also amazing !! We already plan on booking another get away here again very soon . Definitely worth your money & travel time . Thank you again for a 5 star experience

Really enjoyed our stay. Riki was very quick to get back to us when we needed assistance with thermostat and breaker. Place was really clean and well stocked. Loved the deck and view of the lake. Be aware there is no cable, but Netflix and Hulu provided. Had a nice time in Clare for an afternoon (10 mins away). Thank you Niki
