Just Restored Family Farmhouse in Serene Setting with Gorgeous Views. Just 12 miles/ 15 minutes north of Columbus. About 8 minutes from historic Fayetteville, 25-30 minutes from antique shopping in Warrenton/Roundtop. This family home, The Old Place New Again, was built around 1900 and moved a mile and a half down the road where it was fully restored and now sits on 400+acres. Enjoy the long porch with cool breezes and plenty of outdoor seating. The fire pit area and patio tables are perfect for conversing. Open floor plan and island kitchen inspire great family gatherings.

Moms and adult daughters stsyed here for Roundtop/Marburger. It was a charming house on a fantastic setting. It was a bit more of a drive than we expected but we loved this property and will be back!

Three Generations Reunite
This lovely house accommodated three generations of our family this summer, and we had a wonderful time. The common living space was roomy enough for all of us to be together to play games, catch up, and just generally hang out. The house is very private, situated among rolling hills and pastures, but it didn't take too long for us to drive to Columbus if necessary. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Gorgeous Views
Our group of 10 friends loved the house and the property. We admired the “old/new” pictures and details. All beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings, walking the property during the day, and poking a fire at night. We highly recommend! The only detail that could have been an improvement was another bathroom, as we were 10 women!

We had a great stay. We were four friends going to Round Top. It’s about 30 minutes, dont let anyone say its less! It would be good to have more porch time then we did. But we were there to shop! So if you like peaceful, this is the place.

This place was so beautiful and wonderful! My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding, and it was perfect! We were able to sit outside the morning of my wedding, and enjoy coffee and fellowship/friendship. So special! The countryside was beautiful as we watched the sunrise. The primary bathroom is gorgeous! If your a bath person, its heaven! Would love to come back here again and again.

Absolutely stunning
What an absolute show stopper of a property! Pictures simply don’t do this place justice. Shannon was great at communicating, the house was spotless and the view was incredible. I took a group of 10 women to Round Top for the weekend, several that didn’t know each other. This property provided ample space in all areas of the home (kitchen, living room, porch, beds) for everyone to have their own space. I would gladly bring my own young kids to this home too, plenty of space to run and play safely.
