The hotel was very noisy on two of the nights we stayed - the first because of guests shouting and banging doors well after midnight and the second because of a function room with a band and very poor sound proofing. (They did stop at midnight)The room was large but old and tired looking and there we no power outlets near the bed for changing phones etc. Staff were helpful and the grounds pleasant but our window looked straight at thick trees.

All around our sink was full of hair shavings on the worktop on the sink and the seal all the way around, I reported this to reception along with images who said they would deal with it and report accordingly. Upon returning home I received an email saying Sorry hope you will visit us again soon 😳. We paid £127 for one night the very least we expected was some sort of compensation but all there bothered about is £££, there is better around and probably care about their customers more! Hope this helps people out there unsure if the price is worth it.

Lovely stay but no room service
Hotel was lovely and would stay again. Nice touches in room like a fridge, smart tv and coffee machine. Restaurant food was excellent Only gave four stars though as no room service which surprised me.
