Bedbugs in Room 219 - Warning!
I'm a business traveler who has stayed in hundreds of Best Western properties over the years with overall great experiences. So I was disheartened to wake up at 3am on the first night of my stay (after having checked the sheets before going to bed) to find bed bugs biting and crawling on me. I left my belongings in the room to avoid spreading bedbugs back to my home. The hotel manager and night clerk refunded my stay, but neither they nor Best Western Corporate were interested in compensating me for my clothes (which they offered to wash, although I was not willing to take that risk) or luggage (which I also had to throw away). I have had scarring from the bites (I'm allergic to most bug bites), so I wanted to warn others to be extra careful if you're planning to stay at this location.

Seamless hotel stay
It was a great place to stay. Lots of food options and stores walking distance. Check in was extremely fast, and the girls to front desk was very friendly and personable. I was driving from Long Beach to Sacramento. I decided to stop and get a room and get some rest before driving the last three hours of my journey. check in Was smooth, Games and sleep looking forward to the free breakfast in the morning here at the hotel

Convenient location and wonderful staff. I appreciate the good lighting in the parking lot so everyone feels safe and navigates well, but real drapes that can be closed to darken the room would help people sleep well.

Nice place and clean. Several truck fuel stops in immediate area. Not really truck stops. Couple fast food places nearby. Breakfast good. There is a gravel driveway and open field behind the property. I didn't see any security issues for normal people. I had a pickup full of expensive big truck tires so i parked close to the building under the light. Good stay
