We stayed here 1 night with our family. A bunch of shady characters hanging around the main lodge. The whole place is falling apart. It can use serious remodeling. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Eventually you can smell it in our bedroom. (Which 2 of us are asthmatic) people smoking pot outside the main door. Inside our room was dirty. The floors were dirty as well. The room was very outdated. The pillows were down to nothing, the walls were peeling paint.

So one bed was uncomfortable but main problem was there was a insect(centipede big) on our room. I make a video of it and shown to reception but all they said ok we will look but nothing after that no sorry no refund

Stayed two nights. The room was clean. However the hallways reeked of smoke and pot. Other guests were loud during the evening and early hours of the morning. We will not stay there again.

Property is a bit tired, but clean enough. Staff on reception lacked customer service skills. Some of the guests looked like they were ā€˜going through a rough timeā€™! Approx 8 minute walk to local train station.

Ok for one night. Not worth the price but every place in the NYC metro costs this much so itā€™s not the hotelā€™s fault. Shower floor was gross and I put a towel down. Bathroom door didnā€™t close but I was alone so it was fine. Room door closed and locked. Lobby smelled a bit like weed. Fire alarm was triggered by shower steam according to the owner who told us not to worry. Bed was fine and seemed clean enough. Fridge was a little dirty but not too bad. Working AC in the rooms. Walking distance from train station for LIRR. Walkable area, close to 7/11 and dollar tree. KFC, Subway, etc other fast food in walking distance. Close to UBS/Belmont as I was attending a concert there. Not the best but ok place to crash and convenient location.

Parking is not guaranteed but they do have a decent sized lot. Room was very comfy.

Lobby was so loud at check in just because of the tv, honestly, and barriers made it difficult to hear the person who checked me in, who was admittedly very nice and helpful. Upon entering the room I saw a clear splatter of something on the floor. The towels are small and scratchy. Nonsmoking rooms and smoking rooms on the same floor so the hallway smells like cigarettes. The proximity to the UBS arena was nice and there are lots of convenient shops and restaurants in the area, easy to travel to and from by public transportation.

I loved the places and enjoyed my stay however my room has a strong smell of cigar and I donā€™t smoke. It appears other visitors were smoking and the smoke went into the vent and the scent was strong in my room.
