On booking no mention of restaurant full booked By a church convention I’m sure this wasn’t a last minute booking So we had to dine in the bar basic menu slow service as only one person serving and manager working on his computer

Our 4th stay.

We checked in and the room wasn't cleaned advised reception and no problem in moving us to another room. Which was good. Room comfortable, breakfast lovely. We would stay again.

Mix up of rooms, not very helpful in sorting it out, overcharged for breakfast and also didn’t clean rooms after a room swap. Bed linen was dirty also on arrival and marks on towels. However the guy who checked us in was very welcoming and had a great attitude.

The room was really cold when I got to it. Was unable to stream my phone to the TV. Iron on the ironing board looked very unsafe and cord on steam iron was too short to easily use it. Bed was a little too low for my disability. Breakfast was good however sitting down with my disability was not easy. When leaving the slope from reception to the disabled parking bay was not easy to climb.

First stay at the Staverton. Very handy for an event we were attending. Room in need of a bit of tlc, most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The taxi company the receptionist recommended was a let down, ordered 2 and only 1 turned up. Very late for the return pick up.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean, comfortable and well maintained hotel. Lovely leisure facilities, warm pool. Good breakfast, lots of choice. Just a small thing that could be made clearer(unless we missed it) was a notice adding to the EV charger saying that it had to be activated inside, but it was very handy being able to charge overnight.

A utilitarian hotel which is starting to show its age. Long, chilly corridors led to a reasonable, basic room. A wall-mounted electric radiator struggled to warm the room, which was poorly-soundproofed. Reception, breakfast and bar all fine by British hotel standards; travellers from elsewhere would probably find them mediocre.
