We spent four delightful nights at Corte Calzaiuoli and would highly recommend it. The room was beautifully appointed with plenty of space and a dramatic en-suite. Although looking over the busy Via Calzaiuoli the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was delicious with juices and eggs to order and a wide range of sweet and savoury items. Location was superb with all the major sites on the doorstep and easy access to the airport team. We felt looked after for every hour of our stay.

All the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room had great amenities - heated towel rack, rain shower, soaking tub, bath robe and slippers, comfortable bed. Breakfast was a great selection and there was fresh squeezed orange juice. We were right in the center of everything, so easy to walk everywhere. I would stay here again. It was a little confusing when we arrived because there is a hotel on the corner with a similar name and even though I showed the taxi driver the address, he dropped us at the hotel. Since this is more of a small B&B type place, there is not a big sign. So just make sure you end up at the right place.

We loved our stay here!! The staff is incredible and so accommodating, and the breakfast is wonderful. With only 11 rooms, it felt like a very personal and special stay. It’s very centrally located as well, and super walkable!

Stay away from it. We booked 2 rooms and we advised will be arriving late surprisingly we could not find the hotel and no one responded the phone anymore and left us without a place to stay and charged the full prices. The local police assisted us to find a hotel to stay and when I called next day to complain they denied receiving any phone calls. Extremely disappointed.

We had a Junior Suite. It was a beautiful accommodation with high quality touches, including a very comfortable bed and pillows, very high quality sheets and linens, bathrobes, etc. The room was decorated in very good taste, and we really enjoyed having a living area to spread out in. The breakfast (which was included in our rate) was truly amazing and we were sorry that we could only make time for it once during our three-day stay. The service and surroundings for breakfast were exceptional. The only little problem we had during our stay was with the air conditioning malfunctioning our first evening. When Regina learned of it, she took care of the problem immediately. Regina and the staff were incredibly attentive and even offered to make us sandwiches for our early morning departure. This was a five star accommodation, made exquisite by the personalized service. I highly recommend it if you plan to visit Florence (and the location is unbeatable!)

Everything was great beautiful details, really nice room. Comfy bed. The only thing was, we didn’t know where to leave the luggage. There was no space for the luggage. And breakfast needs a lot more than what it offers.

The absolute perfect place! If you are looking don’t hesitate as you can not find a better place. Location, is perfect, staff is attentive and helpful, rooms, beds, shower and linens are fantastic. We had 7 of us in 3 rooms from 24-83 years old, as we brought our parents. You can walk everywhere and drop things back at the hotel with ease. This place is a gem. Easy for all. Would give it 12 stars!!!
