Thanks to its central location on the edge of the historic center, you can reach the Duomo, other famous sights, elegant shopping streets and top Florentine restaurants in just a few minutes walk.
The beautiful penthouse apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building in the style of Italian rationalism and can be reached by elevator except for a few steps in the entrance area.
If you come by car, there is a public underground parking directly across the street or, even better, only about 200m away, a paid garage that can be reserved in advance..

A bright and spacious living-dining room awaits you in the 180m2 large, elegant holiday apartment. The large window front provides a magnificent view of the cathedral. A nice sitting area invites you to linger. From here there are a few steps leading to the living and TV room on the rooftop terrace level. The 110m2 terrace has two nice dining and sitting areas, with magnificent "almost" all-round views of Florence. On the western side, the silhouette of the cathedral, “il Duomo” can be seen above the roofs, as well as the bell tower of Santa Croce. On the opposite side, the view sweeps far into the surrounding green hills and Fiesole.

The rooftop terrace, equipped with oleander, bougainvillea and many green plants, invites you to relax after a day full of impressions. Enjoy the magical panorama and let the day end with a glass of Chianti and the anticipation of the next day.

This is by far one of the most incredible place we have rented. The place was a lot larger than expected, beautifully furnished, the roof top deck had an amazing view & the extra family room was spacious. The place was in a great area, easy walk to old town Florence. The service was amazing to work with & even got checked out by a family member. We will be back!!

The residence was excellent. If anything it's much larger than the images make it out to be. Location is very convenient. The roof is quite nice, although the main seating area doesn't face the historic downtown, which is a bit too bad (there's a second table that does, which also nice but seats fewer people).

Penthouse Amendola is a fabulous apartment. Great location within walking distance of Duomo Complex and museums. Views of Brunelleschi's Dome from the apartment. The outdoor terraces are wonderful. Host was responsive and helpful to me as I had questions planning our trip. Highly recommend!!

This property was fabulous and was perfect for 7 adults +. Very clean and upgraded and classy. The rooftop was absolutely incredible with sunset views of Florence and the Duomo. We ate outside at the table on the rooftop several times during our stay - best family dinners and memories made! The surrounding neighborhood had plenty of restaurants and fun places to visit. Felt very safe. I would highly recommend this lovely paradise!

Hands-down the best property that we booked during our stay in Italy. Ingrid and Anna Pia were always very accessible, and the penthouse property was so beautiful and well taken care of. Our favorite part was definitely the wrap around rooftop patio - a great gathering place for our family to enjoy ourselves in the evenings. We also appreciated the beautifully renovated Bathrooms and personal touches such as complimentary slippers for each guest. I would highly recommend this property!

This was perfect for us!
The pictures of the rooftop terrace sold me on this property, but when we arrived and saw how wonderful the rest of the apartment was, the terrace was merely a bonus. We had two of our children and their families staying with us, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The apartment was so beautifully appointed, that we felt as if we were staying in a private home, not a rental unit. That said, it was also very comfortable. I was concerned we may be staying a little too far from the main points of interest, but found the the location to be very convenient. We would love to return again and highly recommend this property.

This penthouse was delightful. Views of the Duomo and central Florence on one side and views of the hills on the other. Fabulous sunsets and drinks and dinner on the patio. The house was fully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay with air conditioning - a big plus! The Check-in process was seem less and property manager was so attentive. The proximity to all the major attractions made visiting Florence incredible. Five stars!

The property is stunning. It feels really large and it is beautiful. The views are stunning and we could have lived in the living room with all the beautiful windows. The rooms are well appointed, the whole apartment is, and there is everything you need. It is very safe with a gate out front and locked front door to the building (and a doorman during the week), and deadbolts on the front door. It is also in a very safe neighborhood with a great grocery store two blocks away and shops on the same block. You can walk into the heart of old town in 15-20 mins (all flat and very scenic) and there is a bus station right out front. They were really nice and the ac worked great (there is an individual unit in every room). This is totally worth it; amazing place to stay!

Our traveling party if 10, from ages 18-88, thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property. Penthouse Amendola was a fabulous place to stay with astonishing views of Florence from the outdoor garden space. It was located within a short walk of several of the main attractions and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with a large group.

Great Stay in Penthouse Amendola
The property was, in a work, fantastic. There were 8 of us and the apartment was plenty big for us.. The apartment was beautifufly appointed. Appliances were new and worked well. The bathrooms were quite elegant and we had plenty of room to gather as a group. The outside space was awesome and had we had better weather, we would have been using every night. The apartment is centrally located. We were able to walk to all of our excursion pickups, tour starting points and restaurants near the Duomo in 30 minutes or less. There are grocery stores, cafes, pizzerias, gelaterias and other restaurants a short walk from the apartment. The owner's agent, Anna, was very good to work with. She showed us how all of the appliances worked and had information on restaurants, cabs and other conveniences. She also helped with a minor medical issue experienced by one of our group and referred us to a clinic that was able to help. In short, the stay in the apartment was wonderful and everything we hoped for. We strongly recommend penthouse Amendola and should we return to Florence as a group, we will look to reserve it.

This property (and the property manager) are excellent. The apartment is actually better than the pictures and very comfortable (excellent beds, spacious rooms, high quality/new appliances, new bathroom fixtures, etc). The manager was very helpful (she even helped us to coordinate an airport pickup). The only thing to know is that public transportation in Florence is not great and this apt is not as centrally located as I thought (that was my mistake). We were a party of 6 and therefore hailing a taxi (which is very hard to do) meant we needed to hail two taxis. As a result we ended up walking to and from town center (which is a 15-20 minute walk). This was a little bit of an issue however the apartment is in a very nice neighborhood (very safe) and the extra walking helped us to burn off the pasta and gelato. Otherwise this location is amazing and you will be very happy with it.

The property was all it was advertised to be and more! So close to all the attractions but in a quiet area. Two of our best meals were within a 5 minute walk of the penthouse. And the view is even better then the pictures can show. We would return in a heartbeat!
