A stone-throw away from Ponte Vecchio
We really liked the location, the service, and the restaurant (for dinner). We also didn't over-pay as we were visiting Florence during off-peak period (even though the city was bustling!). We struggled with the slow and tiny elevator as check-in and breakfast were on the 5th/6th floor - although we were 'lucky' our rooms were only one floor up. Although the rooms were quite small and my bathroom was tiny, we didn't spend much time in our rooms. The view of the Ponte Vecchio outside our rooms was nice to have. The only major issue we experienced was with the lack of hot water in one of our rooms. (My friends had to come to my room to shower.) The staff did come to verify but the issue was not fixed during our stay. All-in-all, we had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel as it was clean and well located.

Rooms look nothing to what is on line. Very, very small, maybe the size of NY rooms, outdated, linens just okay, bathroom extremely tiny so if your over 5’11 maybe 180 lbs the shower will be a very tight fit. No vanity, no room to open a bag and I’m not talking a big traveler bag. Elevator a little bigger than a bathroom, mostly used for bringing in linens, food, water etc. Five flights of stairs to check in. Very noisy area, pounding on pipes or working on hotel while we were there around 10-11 pm at night. Rooms are very, very outdated.

One of the cutest hotels I have ever stayed at! It had character and an old charm about it. My boyfriend and I chose the hotel last minute during our stay in Florence and we’d happily stay here again in the future. They also held our luggage for us when we checked out so we could explore a bit more of Florence before catching our train to Rome. Room and bathroom were very clean. No complaints! Staff was friendly as well :)

The hotel is exactly where you want to be. The room was a bit small, but the details and bathroom were all nicely done. Staff was very helpful. The restaurant on the terrace is very popular so get your reservations in early.

Great location but the shower was absolutely horrible and the elevator was really hard to use because of how slow and small it was. The rooftop restaurant was great! The cacio e pepe was so delicious!!

Outstanding location. Difficult to find and you cannot take your car. If you do, it’ll cost you an arm and leg 40 Euro per day Paolo was smaning. Waking up at 3 am to help us then move our car in the am to the garage!!!!

There is always someone at the front desk, which is appreciated. The area is GREAT for shopping and experiencing nightlife. Also convenient to walk to sites. I would definitely recommend Hermitage!

Top find in great location!
Location is epic! It is noisy until midnight so def not a hotel for children, but for adults (especially those who don’t go to bed early) it’s just perfect! Great view from the beautiful roof terrace. People not staying in the hotel were coming to use the restaurant up there as they had heard or read about it but it still wasn’t crazy busy. Lovely smart interiors and great for money. Beautiful hotel!
