Absolutely the BEST owner in Firenze
Gianfranco and Cinzia were the consumate owners and landlords. From the moment we checked into the apartment to the arrivederci in front of our taxi to the airport, they were incredibly attentive to our wants and needs. The apartment is completely furnish, is very comfortable and spacious. It is airy with excellent cross ventilation. There were a few moments when we needed to contact them and they were immediately responsive. The apartment is located in San Nicolò, close to the Arno and the Ponte Grazie, within walking distance of centro yet far from the crowds of tourists. We felt welcomed in the neighbor, to the point that the barista in the cafe where we took coffee every morning made our usual coffee drinks and had them in the bar. We had a wonderful time in the apartment and in the neighborhood. HIGHLY recommend this property and owners!

Wonderful Find!
This was my first experience with VRBO and renting an apartment and it turned out great! I spent two months in Florence and this was the ideal location, close to Ponte Vecchio and sights but on Oltrarno side ( better side in my opinion.) Hosts Gianfranco and Cinzia are wonderful people: kind, accommodating and extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

Amazing apartment in the perfect location with very accommodating hosts.
We spent a month in Gianfranco and Cinzia's apartment #2D. The apartment is very well equipped with everything we needed for the month. We loved their Tuscan-style kitchen and had everything we needed to occasionally cook in. It even had a full size refrigerator and freezer. The apartment is bright, clean and located just over the Ponte alle Grazie bridge. The location was perfect; an easy walk to everything, but far away from all of the tourists to be quiet. We loved walking to the restaurants and daily market in San Spirito. Gianfranco, Cinzia and their sons are extremely accommodating. Gianfranco even got up at 4am to make sure our taxi arrived in time to get us to the airport. We felt right at home and pray we can return in the future! Highly recommended!

Perfect Location and Lovely Owners! Planning to Book Again
This apartment is a gem for several reasons. The owners are most welcoming and helpful! From the moment we arrived they ensured our needs were met. Gianfranco and his son met us on our arrival and helped with the luggage. They showed us everything and we settled in. The apartment is very clean and has all of the basics and more. The location is super and it is easy to navigate around this beautiful city from there. I am hoping to return. It was nice to have an elevator after a day of sightseeing. Thank you to the Rosati’s for helping make our vacation so comfortable.

Great location and great hosts
We stayed in Florence for six weeks and our time at the Rosati Vacation rental was wonderful. Gianfranco and Cinzia were there to greet us, even with our late night arrival, were responsive to any questions or needs we had, and we enjoyed our various conversations with them. It was an easy walk across the river to any sites we wanted to see, comfortable for those days we wanted to stay home, and away from the main crush of tourist noise. There is an abundance of restaurants, shops, bars, tabacchi, and shops close at hand. We plan to return and will stay there when we do return to Florence.

Great location, apartment and hosts
A friend and I stayed in this apartment for a week and had a wonderful time. The space is large, stays cool (even during hot days), and is close to everything in the Oltrarno and a short walk from all of the major attractions across the river. Gianfranco, Cinzia and family were great hosts and the apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything we would need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends looking for a fun neighborhood experience in Florence. It can be a bit noisy so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. If you are considering a vacation rental in Florence this is a great one!

Lovely and well-appointed apartment; great location.

Great apartment!
We were a group of 4 and we had a great stay in this apartment. The owners were great to work with before our stay and they were extremely helpful during our stay. They were gracious when we arrived and surprised us with welcome wine and other drinks. They also helped arrange transportation to the train station. It was a great location close to restaurants, gelato, grocery store and Ponte Vecchio. Highly recommend.

Should be 20 stars!!
This is a family owned place and they treat you like family. Place is HUGE, updated, spotlessly clean, a/c really works!!, washer/ dryer a must for us since we did carry on. On 3rd floor, could see top of Dumo, there is a lift. Bed is those foams beds that don't hurt your shoulders and hips if you're a side sleeper. Most beds in Italy have been very hard. Very convenient location. David was the furthest and it was a mile. We walked there from train station, too If you are not used to city sounds, bring earplugs to sleep. The shutters block ALL light if you shut both sets. We never tuned in TV. Wifi was great. Ohhhhhh, Gianfranco even went to all the work to print out maps, in color, of the area. Much easier to use than phone He had agendas " if here 1 day do this in this order".... " if here 2 days do this in this order".... would have saved me hours of research. He had maps to their favorite eating and shopping stores. About the only thing you had to do is buy your own tour tickets. Firenze card is the best if there for 72hrs. But, you must make reservation to climb Dumo. Make reservation way in advance. I can't say enough. This place is a sure bet in a foreign land. I am from Midwest, USA. Terri

Couldn't Be Better!!
A number of reviewers have already praised Gianfranco and his apartments. We found our rental everything that we expected and more. We had two spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and plenty of blankets and pillows; two newly remodeled baths -- one with shower and one with bath/shower; a living room with a view of the Palazzo Vechio and tower and of the Duomo plus a brand new 55(!!) Inch tv; a new kitchen with dishwasher; a seperate laundry room with a new washer/dryer combo; and all the utensils you could need plus a welcoming bottle of wine and some bottled water. One more amenity that may seem odd to mention is the electrical wiring, but I have stayed in enough places where the wiring ranged from inadequate to downright scary. Not so here. There are outlets and switches everywhere you could ever need them, and they all work. Furthermore, Gianfranco has also provided converters for the forgetful US traveler. The elevator in the building worked reliably and is a god-send after days of walking Florence streets. There were three of us -- two old folks and a 21 year old grandson -- but the apartment could easily accommodate 3 or 4 more people without being crowded. The location is perfect for seeing the major sites, and though the street outside can be noisy, the shutters provide good sound-providing for sleeping. The biggest plus, though, is Gianfranco and his family. They are extremely gracious hosts, provide lots of helpful information both in person and in the very helpful booklet he has prepared, are helpful with luggage, and will arrange transportation for you. And they could not be nicer.

Christmas in Florence
Thank you Gianfranco! We stayed during the Christmas to New Years week and had a wonderful stay. We came in on December 24th and Gianfranco had purchased food for us since we were not sure the stores would be open until the 27th. He also purchased our FrienzeCards, again because of the holiday closures. We can't say enough on how Gianfranco and his wonderful family made our stay fantastic. There are about 6 stairs to get to the elevator that takes you up to the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice sized. The location of the apartment was wonderful. Out of the tourist district, but close enough to walk to all the major attractions. We parked our car in a nearby garage and didn't use it for the whole week we were in Florence. Thanks again to Gianfranco and his family. Kathleen and Robert

The perfect experience.
I wish we could give this more than 5 stars. Hands down the best vacation rental we've had. Location was ideal. Just separate enough from the town center but super easy to reach all the sites, especially the beautiful piazzella Michelangelo. Very modern, very clean and comfortable accommodations. Great guide book to local restaurants and shops and the absolute friendliest and most helpful owners. Only regret is that we didn't stay at this gem longer!

Fantastic apartment in the best location with amazing hosts!
My daughter and I stayed with the Rossetti's for 3 months and loved every minute of it. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in an amazing location to enjoy Firenze. We could walk everywhere and the location close to Bardini gardens, San Niccolo, and ponte Vecchio was perfect. The kitchen was fantastic for cooking when we stayed in but there were also endless restaurants close by to chose from. The hosts kindly provided information about restaurants and shopping and everything in between. One of the greatest things about this apartment was our hosts! There were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We were very sad to leave but know we will be back!

Good for family with baby
This apartment worked really well to stay with our 4 month old baby. The owners set up a big cot (has sides, like a play yard in the US) that comfortably fit in either room. We choose to have the baby sleep in the room with twin beds, where we could hear him cry, but not hear the sleepy noises that babies make. There was no street noise heard in that second room, and we could make it very dark at night. From the main room (one bed) we could hear the occasional car drive by at night, but there is minimal traffic and it's very easy to sleep through (especially after being a tourist all day). There is one step to enter the building and then 8 wide and even steps to get to the elevator, then one more to enter the apartment. This is nothing compared to other apartments and attractions. The steps were easy to do with the stroller or with the baby in a front pack. We didn't use our stroller too much because we got tired of lifting it on and off the Florence sidewalks around obstacles and people. We have a stroller system (larger than an umbrella stroller, smaller than a jogger) and it would fit in the elevator if we took off one wheel, or removed baby and folded it up. Owners provided lots of information about local resources/activities and how things work in the apartment. Shower heated up quickly. Wifi worked well. Owners are super amiable, helpful and great hosts. It was about a 5min taxi ride/25 min walk to the train station (with a baby). All other positive comments by other travelers are totally true!!

A bouquet to the owners!
This second- floor apartment of Gianfranco and Cinzia in Florence is only minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio bridge, stores, and markets and a good food store. Across the River Arno is the famous Uffizi Museum. Also nearby, you will gently climb the hill to the Piazzale Michelangelo square where stands a copy of the statue of David by Michelangelo with one of the finest views of the city. Many people gather on this hill to enjoy the music and watch the sun set. A beautiful place to visit. When we arrived at the apartment, Ginafranco and Cinzia were there to meet us and they explained the running of the apartment and also left us with a bouquet of flowers and a nice bottle of red wine - both very much appreciated. The apartment has an elevator which is good for those people who might have a problem with stairs. It is air-conditioned, spacious and equipped with everything one could want. The rooms are large and the main bathroom has two basins, a bidet and a shower, and it is large enough to double as a laundry room with a washer, drying rack and ironing board. Both bedrooms are large and well equipped. Our adult daughters shared a bedroom which allowed them lots of space to spread out and still be confortable. The kitchen has everything one could want in the way of dishes and cooking utensils. It is the best one we have stayed in. Gianfranco and Cinza live in the same building and were attentive to our needs, They arranged a taxi to take us to the airport and their delightful sons, Roberto and Ricardo, were at our door to help us with our luggage when we were leaving and waited with us until the taxi arrived. It was very much appreciated. If we ever return to Florence, we would have no hesitation in using this apartment again and would recommend it to our friends. Five-star stay in a lovely and comfortable apartment
We had a fabulous stay at Gianfranco's lovely apartment in Florence. Gianfranco and his family are so lovely - they met us at check-in and provided lots of information. Our stay went very smoothly and we were very comfortable. The apartment is so well-located on the peaceful, quieter Oltrarno side of Florence. It is tucked away on a charming and safe street that is not mobbed with tourists, but it was only a 7 minute walk to the Uffizi. We were grateful for the elevator and the A/C. Gianfranco was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, and he provided wonderful customer service. On our last day, there was a taxi strike and Gianfranco's lovely wife went above and beyond to help us get where we needed to be. Very highly recommended!
