It's in an HOA with ridiculous rules.
Place was very expensive, nightly price wasn't bad but management fees more than doubled the overall price for a weekend stay. On top of that, there's a $2000.... yes two thousand dollar fine for any noise complaint and similar fines for everything from parking in the wrong spot to having someone not in the "lease" in the unit. Unit was nice, definitely an older apartment with a lot of wear and tear on it but fairly clean. The whole thing reeked of marijuana though and on our second night, the door quit working and locked us out for an hour while someone came to let us in (it's a common problem according to the maintenance guy). Overall, I expect better for this price range. It doesn't need to be the Ritz but it shouldn't be so troublesome.

Was just what we wanted!
Was nicely appointed, felt like a good beach condo without being very fancy so comfortable. Nice and roomy, we were just 2 of us but if we'd had a kid or two it would have been comfortable. Super convenient to the beach BUT on the other side of the river so you don't have to sit in ALL the beach traffic coming from the city. We'd stay here again, great community, location and condo itself.

Location is great...kitchen is stocked with basics...property is very poorly maintained! Communication with local people was good, had problems twice with the lock but someone helped quickly. It was nice that some paper products were supplied

Great location for Folly Beach
Loved the water front of the inter coastal - we had coffee of the screen porch and watched dolphins in the cove area before heading to the beach for the day. Good space for 4 adults. Easy check in / check out process. Will come again!

The location was nice. The house was fairly clean but the walls had cracks and needed painting. The management company, Vacasa, didn't answer or return our calls about a noise complaint. The neighbors dog barked for hours at night.

Rental condition
Place really needs some major repairs. Ceiling show leaks in a few places and cracks in walls. Bugs come up drain pipe in tubs. Only one gate card with two separate cars. I would not rent this one again not as nice as last one we rented two years ago.

The place was beautiful. Fully stocked dishes. Balcony with a beautiful view. A quick walk over the bridge & we were in the heart of the Fun, food, restaurants and beach. The pool was clean & fun. We will definetly book this unit again.

Loved this condo!
This condo was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked very well, met all our needs. It was also very spacious for the 3 of us. I loved waking up every morning to the sail boats on the sound. Only draw back for me is this was a,sisters trip and my sister's are in their 70's so the stairs to the unit were tuff on them, bringing up luggage, etc. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

Was very good.
Over all was good. Floors needed cleaning. Mattress in master bedroom was very easy to roll off of. This was just minor thing. Reality Co. good to work with. We would go back. and would recommend, loved Folly Beach.
