Maac, a daytime manager is a liar. I called the hotel 5 days in advance of checking in to ask if there was shuttle service between the airport and the hotel. He told me there was. He told me to call him back after we had gotten our bags at baggage claim. We did. He told me that the hotel did not have shuttle service but to walk about a half mile to taxi pick up area and wait for a Holiday Day Express van. We waited in the rain for 45 minutes. When we got to the hotel we asked about shuttle service to the pier for our cruise. He said there was no shuttle service to the pier and gave me a business card and told me to make our own reservations. He lied again. He appears to be unhappy with his job. Very disappointed with him and the hotel. I have already told my travel agent to not book your hotel for any other guests of hers or her travel agency.

I was hesitant at first because over the last couple of months since I had booked with Best Western it has received incredibly mixed reviews on Google. I was pleasantly surprised- we didn’t end up using the shuttle service that was provided because we needed to be a little faster than what they could provide. That being said the person who answered the phone was super nice and helpful with directions. Staff was friendly and pleasant- we interacted with at least three different people at the front desk and two other employees including cleaners. If you’re having bad interactions with staff, maybe check your own tone of voice to make sure you’re being pleasant as well. Customer service workers are people with feelings too. The bedroom was clean. Two beds. Mattresses and linens and towels were nice and white. The room purifier wasn’t my favorite smell but it did give the room a pleasant smell. I wish it went off a little less frequently. It’s walkable to food and grocery as well as some shopping and easy for Ubers to get to Checking in and adding late check out was easy breezy. I’d book again!
