First I want to say that the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness was ok but this is an older property and desperately needs a renovation. They did text and ask if l needed anything and I responded that the hand soap was empty. I later discovered that the shampoo dispenser was empty and notified the front desk but neither one got addressed.

The door to our room had to be pulled and/or closed with great force to get it to open and/or closed therefore making it very noisy. The elevator is a bit rackety as well. Dust on the lampshades in the room. The front desk staff and the breakfast guy were very good!

The letdown
I reserved a room with a king bed. I got a queen because they ran out of kings (how does that happen?). The room was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Smaller than some motel rooms I’ve been to. It just wasn’t at all what I expected from Hampton Inn. Especially at $250 per night. Btw, the complimentary coffe was cold.

Do not stay here. Run down hotel, roaches, unsafe.
For the price and the hotel brand the this hotel is not worth it. The hotel is run down, unclean, and unsafe. In the first room they gave us, the tub spout diverter came out of the wall, water gushing out everywhere in the bathroom. Minutes after we realized water was pooling outside of the bathroom into the carpet though underneath the wall dividing the bath from the room. Reported the issue and wad given a different room. That one was a sauna and smelled horrible. No ac working at all. Third room? Unclean and with a run down Ac that literally sounded like a train in full motion. Breakfast offered had no options for people with dietary conditions. And the day we were checking out we found live roaches coming to bid us farewell. Not the stay we were hoping fot the high prices they charge in Fort Lauderlale. The elevator shakes so badly we decided to take the stairs 4 floors up and down because we did not feel safe at all. Staff is really nice and attentive, the hotel on the other hand sucks.

Mostly a wonderful hotel & stay!
This hotel was for the most part, excellent! Rooms were nice, overall property was clean, breakfast was great, & staff was beyond friendly & helpful! There was however some unsavory people hanging around on property outdoors mainly. Some may have been guests possibly. But we were towing a trailer so parked in back & one day we came out to find a lady had tied 2 large dogs to the tires on the trailer & was looking suspicious with a screw driver in her hand. Another day while going downstairs to breakfast, we witnessed a man (who was a guest) urinating on the sidewalk out the back double doors of the hotel. Later in our stay I was propositioned to come to his room (119) as I passed by him outside smoking. Hopefully going forward your staff can patrol the outside area a little better both day & night to prevent this in the future.

My Room was dirty and stuffy. I was put in a handicap room, because I requested a queen size. That didn't make any sense to me so I asked to be moved to a different room, and I was told that all there queen size were handicapped rooms .

An experience that could have been better.
Well, the caroet in room 219 is done, old and dirty. Shower was super clean, and towels are good qualities. Dining are was too vage, and brakefast was trash. You guys could not find my reservation information, so I ended up spending over an hour at front desk. 30% chance for me to go back there. I loved the shower, and the bed was not too soft, I slept. I like the multiple outlets in the room, space between desks and bed is too narrow, people can get hurt going in between. Front desk lady was nice.

I was given a room with the front door hinges were loose. I had to lift the door to be able to close it. I was just so tired when I checked in I didn’t care in the morning. The person in the room next to me said he had that room and told him the door was broken. They changed his room, but gave it to me. The bet was very uncomfortable and the carpeting needs to be shampooed stained I won’t be staying here again.
