At least it's close to the port...
We arrived to check in aroun 8:45 pm. We were told that our room was not marked as being ready for check in yet... at 8:45 at night... amd that she needed to check with housekeeping to see if that was true or not. After about 30 minutes of waiting, my husband asked the front desk for am update. He was told, "Give me a minute." After we had been waiting a half hour already! Finally, around 9:30 pm, we were finally told we could check in. Super fun trying to keep a hungry family of 7 happy in the lobby for nearly an hour. When all was said and done, she told my husband he could have a beer from the cooler because of of the trouble. We dont drink, so he got a little pack of mini Oreos instead... almost enough for each person in our family to have 2 mini Oreos. Needless to say, checkin was rough... and then our "clean" room had hair all over the extra blanket and pillows as flat as pancakes. Pretty much the only upside has been proximity to the cruise port.

When we finally got our room it was not stocked. Nothing for kitchen (paper towels, dish soap etc). Very little cutlery in kitchen. 6 guests, 2 sets of towels. Had to call twice because request for towels never annswered first time (gave it 2 hours) All shampoo, wash etc empty in one of the bathrooms. dirty, was not vacuumed. Clumps of dust and dirt in corners Had just stayed at 2 different sister properties as part of road trip so know what to expect from this brand.

The lobby was spotless and clean, but when we turned the corner to go to our Suite it was dirty from then on. In our bathroom it looked like so.eone pulled a tampon with force leaving a streak of blood on the wall at toilet seat height. There was dry snot splatter on the bathroom door, dirt or food on the ice bucket, fridge shelves were smuged with whatever spilled, and the carpet was filthy throughout the whole place ecept the lobby. The bed was clean, so we were able to survive the night.

I wanted to stay here because of my previous stay with the location in Lawerenceville, which was beyond amazing. However, when I got here this location paled in comparison. The room was okay, however the bathroom shower extremely dated and leaked. We stayed for three days and upon checking in was alerted that housekeeping was every other day. To my disappointment when I returned to a room that was not serviced on the second day. The front desk alerted me house keeping was every three days. I informed her that I was checking out the next day and she stated that the only thing they could do was give more towels and empty the garbage. She sent someone to give the towels but he ran off before changing the waste cans. The breakfast, was the same thing every day - no variety . While the staff was very friendly and accommodating, I doubt I would stay at this location again.

Good value for the price!
Property amenities did not match property details on the hotels.com… there is no restaurant or bar/lounge on site. Which was frustrating when we arrive later than planned very hungry. Staff was excellent but we did find the property quite unkept. Hallway carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed in a long time. Furniture has lots of stains. Chairs were not the right height for the dining table. Kitchen supplies were very limited no linens provided. For a two night stay it was fine especially once we picked up our rental car.

Property is in a convenient location to shopping and dining. There's a Wendy's across the parking lot. The hotel was decorated really nice for the Christmas holidays. The staff was reasonably accommodating however both nights requests for towels were never fulfilled. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed despite the front desk never having more than one person in line. Overall i would stay again.

The hotel seemed nice on arrival. Pretty lobby, breakfast was good and the lady was working really hard to keep stuff in stock. But the room left a lot to be desired. Leaky shower, AC not working in 1/2 of the suite, some towels had stains, no extra feather free pillows available for someone with an allergy, out of shampoo/conditioner in one of the showers. That kind of stuff.

i booked this property twice & just happened to get the same room both times. I’m positive housekeeping doesn’t really do too much cleaning & replacing b/c the same dirty shower curtain i had mentioned on the first stay was still in the bathroom.. there was no bath soap/dish washer (which is fine since i bring my own).. “early check-in” isn’t a thing. we got here at 9am & didn’t get into a room until 2:40. we asked for towels 2 different times when we checked in (since we had a lot of kids with us), we didn’t get towels until 7:40. Melissa at the front desk was great! she was very helpful & accommodating when it came to the children! did all she could to help us be comfortable while we waited… the rooms are nice, just need to be kept up with.. we didn’t see any housekeeper so having to do to the front desk 3-4 times to ask for towels to shower is kind of ridiculous. location is great, stores are walkable, restaurants are all close & convenient

Wasn’t the best
We had got a junior suite and it was Very small. We had 5 people and it was a little cramped. The pull out couch bed is a death trap with what felt like just a piece of cardboard as the mattress and the shower was horrible. The beds were not that bad. The staff was very nice however trying to get picked up from the airport with the hotel shuttle is a nightmare and be prepared to wait at least 90 min to be picked up. They do provide breakfast which is comparable to Denny if you like that cold slop. Spend a couple extra bucks more and find another hotel.

This particular Homewood requires some renovation, particularly to enhance the first impression for guests. The rug in the hallways leading to the rooms are quite soiled and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the furniture in the rooms were battered and jammed.
