Overall Good
I've been staying at this property for years, even before the change in ownership. It's a great location. The property is getting a little dated, and maintenance is on a lower standard then what it used to be with Marriott. You don't want any of rooms on the freeway side. We had a 1 bed suite, it was large, we love the full size kitchen. Overall our stay was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The room had a couple maintenance issues, the light in the bathroom flickering, the wall at the shower head was damaged and someone tried to caulk it together, it looked a little scary.

I had elderly friends come into town and needed an accessible room. I got the king studio at ES and was not disappointed. The property is dated, but extremely clean and well maintained. The price point, service and convenience were all great!

The room and surrounding areas are clean. It is conveniently located to Hwy 405, near gas stations and many restaurants. Approximately 4.5 miles from the beach. A lot of parking, safe environment. Staff is efficient. Decent breakfast. Allows dogs for a fee.

The staff were good. My complaint is for the cleanliness of the room as well as the weed smell lingering down from the room above. Due to the weed smell and unfaltering noise throughout the night and early morning I had to be changed to a different room which was extremely inconvenient and not what I wanted to deal with after traveling 20 hours for work. There was something going on in the room above me and then after across from me. I noticed a plethora of men coming in and out at all hours. This made me extremely uncomfortable and made me question my safety. This is so uncalled for how much I spent on my week stay here. Will not be staying here again.
