The property was nice. It's off the beaten path and you have to drive to find any type of shopping or nightlife. Our room was clean but the bathroom area needs a major facelift. The floors were broken and cracked, the bathroom door had chunks missing out of it. We blew a fuse twice trying to run the microwave and a hair dryer. For the price we paid ($200 a night, surge pricing!) it was not worth it. The staff were nice and trying their best but the property needs a major reboot.

Cama confortável. Quarto espaçoso. O staff muito educado e atencioso. Quarto bem limpo. Café da manhã sem opções, mas pelo valor da diária, não esperava muito. Fica bem no coração da Franconia. Para apenas uma noite, é excelente. Tem microondas e frigogar no quarto o que ajuda bastante se você quiser pegar algo congelado no mercadinho que fica a apenas 4 minutos de lá. Com certeza ficarei novamente, caso esteja indo para White Mountains por apenas uma noite.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stony Brook, and we look forward to coming back sometime. Beautiful area, very scenic, close to hiking and mountains we enjoy. Well maintained property, loved the stream going by the motel! Pool very clean and nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Price was very fair! Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a scenic, quiet, rustic getaway in beautiful NH.

Wonderful place to stay before hiking in the White Mountains. Simple, affordable hotel with a great location in Franconia. We found it quiet and a great place to rest before our hike.

Property is very outdated. Looks beautiful from the outside, but the rooms are very, very small with overused furniture. If you’re only staying one night, it’s OK, but I wouldn’t stay there more than one night.

My wife suffers from poor health and it has been a long time since we went away. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful and if we go to Franconia again this is where we will stay.
