A Cozy A-Frame near Patoka Lake and French Lick

This amazing property is great for your family festivities, fishing/hunting trip, or a simple relaxing get-a-way. It is 5 minutes from Patoka Lake, 10 minutes from downtown French Lick attractions, and a half mile from beautiful Tucker Lake. It suits a romantic get a way for couples, family, or group up to 6 people. Book with us now for your much needed retreat.

The home features a fully stocked kitchen, 4 Bedrooms, a full bathroom on the main level and a half bath upstairs. There is a large back deck providing plenty of room for grilling and entertaining. It also connects you to a separate room with card table, kids pool/ping pong table, and full toy chest for the littles. The large living room is ready for you to relax with family and stream your favorite shows. Walk out of the master bedroom to the upper level balcony to enjoy your coffee and great views of the beautiful hard wood forest. The spiral staircase leads you to two bedrooms, each with a twin bed and one with two arcade games (Galaga and Streetfighter) and the other room having a TV. Driveway in front of home offers plenty of parking along.

The house rests on 30 acres of woods. There is a mile loop of moderate hiking trails leading down to a stream with a cool rock shelf. Trail is shared with seperate rental home in case you see other guests.

Everything was very nice clean The only thing that we didnā€™t like was the fire pit was way too far away from the house we had elderly people that couldnā€™t walk that far The coffee pot maker did not work Luckily, they had two coffee makers, I recommend it to anyone. It was a very nice day very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were clean and everything worked. We were a little worried because it was pretty hot when we got upstairs but once we set the AC and turned on the window unit on the side with the two twins everything was dandy. Only think to plan for is there is only ONE Uber driver, so if your headed to town and planning to stay late you need to have a Designated driver. Weā€™d totally stay again though! (Hopefully when the hot tub is back to functional)

House was very comfortable. Surrounding area was extremely peaceful. Family was a little disappointed because hot tub was out of commission. Our oldest brother would have enjoyed it especially after golfing. We hope to continue our family reunion tradition and use your unit again next year.

Beautiful A frame, lovely, cozy warm decorations and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Hot tub was lovely. Our only suggestions and they werenā€™t big deals but maybe a shelf and hooks in the upstairs bath for placement of ā€œstuffā€ and a later check out time would be nice. Overall the best VRBO Iā€™ve stayed at yet! Host was easy and gracious.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, kitchen well equipped, and hot tub was a great perk! Loved the fully enclosed deck to keep little kids safe! A word for parents with small kids. I didnā€™t understand that there are 2 different upstairs, so rooms were a bit far apart. Bring your baby monitors and you can make it work!

Lovely Stay!
We loved staying in the house! It matched the listing description and was just such a cute, nice house. The hot tub room was a plus, along with the two decks off the back of the house. It is very secluded so the privacy aspect was great. It was about a 12-15 minute drive to French Lick which we liked not being so close to town. Well made home with all the amenities. Will stay here again! Thank you to the host!

The home was even better than the pictures! Very clean and the kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and arcade games. We were blown away and it made the home part of our vacation, not just a place to rest our heads.

50th Birthday Girls' Trip
I rented the A Frame near Patoka Lake with some girlfriends for my 50th birthday weekend. It's a cute little cabin that offers a nice living area to relax and watch movies, a dining area that was the perfect size for game night, a fully stocked kitchen if we had wanted to cook anything while we were there, and enough bedrooms for us all to have our own space. While we didn't take advantage of the hot tub because we were too chicken to run back across the snowy deck in our bathing suits, it did look inviting. We took full advantage of the coffee station before heading into French Lick for breakfast at the resort. The cabin was an easy commute to the local wineries, a cute little ice cream shop and woodcarver's store in town, and the historical tour we took at West Baden resort. I would point out though, it is on a small country road with a hill so if you're traveling in the winter like we were, the roads might seem a bit nerve wracking, The upstairs rooms get quite warm with the heat on so you might consider a small fan, and for a girls' trip, there are a limited number of outlets in the bathroom and bedrooms for chargers and styling appliances.
