Perfect location for accessing Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. My room was comfortable. The only issue was the rainfall shower head didn’t work, and someone entered my room in the am before I had checked out.

Newly Renovated Clean Small Hotel - good value
Renovated building with new furniture. Very nice and Clean. Location is great, in center of Fussen with walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Reception person was friendly and helpful at our check-in. Note that reception closes at 10 pm and locks the lobby doors. Guest can still access the building from rear doors. No room service. This hotel has two buildings: main one just above the reception and second building is across a street that we have to walk to after our check-in. There is No elevator for the second building but it’s fully renovated, clean and bright.

Arrived early and was checked in right away. There is a queen (for two) and a twin bed - family of 3. Very comfortable. No kitchen but we did not intend to cook anyway. Great breakfast for €11.90 (scramble eggs; variety of toast, muffins, cereal, muesli, fresh fruits (Bananas, apples, and oranges), coffee machine makes coffee, mocha, cappuccino). Parking €9. Beautiful & quaint small town. Two days is just right for us. Great price.
