We love this hotel! Perfect location with a beautiful view. Reasonably priced with an amazing breakfast!!!! The staff is friendly & helpful, we felt welcome. We booked a room for 3 & were upgraded upon check in. The room was very comfortable, roomy, clean with comfy beds & we all slept well. If we return to beautiful Bergen the Scandic Torget Hotel is our first choice. Thank you

Great location and good place to stay

The hotel is very nice, although slightly expensive. Our room ("business class" supposedly) was nothing fancy and had no view, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom fine. Staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. Our cruise ship had arrived early in the morning; we were at least able to store our luggage for a few hours and then they were able to give us a room a couple hours before official check-in time. Also, I'd forgotten to pack an electrical adapter for the outlets and though they couldn't provide one, they directed me to a store nearby where I could buy one (Chillout, at the Exposition, if you need one). The hotel is in a great location, right on the waterfront in the Bryggen area, with all the shops and restaurants and fish market within easy walking distance, and there's a small convenience store next door. It's also close to many tourist attractions, such as the fortress, museum, St. Mary's church, and the Mt. Floyen funicular. The best thing was the breakfast buffet; although it gets quite crowded at times, the selection and the food was awesome, and the room is spacious, nicely decorated, and bright with a glass ceiling providing lots of natural light. That was a highlight for us.
