Lakefront Pet friendly with Hot Tub & Private Dock

Rustic cabin with a hot tub and private dock in a deep water cove. Plenty of water and excellent fishing off the double decker dock with swim platform. Ideally located in the center of Lake Lanier, close to where the Chattahoochee River meets the Chestatee River. The Duckett Mill Campgrounds and a public boat ramp are only minutes away. There's easy access to both Port Royal Marina with Pelican Pete's restaurant and Gainesville Marina with Scoggies restaurant.

This is a clean, rustic 2 story cabin with a spiral staircase separating the two levels. Ideal for a couple or a small family looking for a private getaway. The master bedroom is downstairs and has a queen size bed and a private bath. The second bedroom is downstairs in an open common area, outside the master bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a full size Murphy Bed that pulls out of the wall. Recommended for a maximum of 4 people.

Enjoy lake time and cookouts on the expansive deck that overlooks the lake with amazing views. You can see the lake from just about every room as the house sits on a small point in a secluded cove.

There is a canoe and pedal boat provided for your convenience. I only ask that you operate it in a safe manor, follow all boating laws and wear the provided life jackets.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, but there is a $110 non refundable pet fee for additional cleaning. You will also be held 100% responsible for any damage your pet causes. It is recommended not to allow dirty and wet dogs inside until clean and dry. Due to our temperate climate, all dogs are required to be on a flea and tick program. Limit 2 dogs. CATS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was quiet amd peaceful and just what we needed. We enjoyed fishing and caught some good sized catfish. We brought our yorkie and he had a blast as well. I had a hard time following the step by step directions on the tv and Mark was very pleasant and helpful when we had to call him. Great place to staywith a wonderful host.

Quick Getaway
This was a great place for a quick getaway! Very clean, beautiful surroundings, and owner was very communicative. I loved the videos he prepared for where to park, how to turn things on, etc. I would stay again. My only caution to anyone looking to book this property is this cabin is perched on the side of a very steep hill. The sleeping quarters are all down a flight of narrow circular stairs. Getting down to the dock and back up to the cabin can be a bit precarious as well. This would not be good for small children or adults with any mobility issues. I did not have my dogs with me on this trip, but my small dogs would probably not have been able to navigate the stairs and would have had to been carried down. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

This was the perfect spot to stay while visiting family in Gainesville and taking some day trips to Mount Yonah and Helen. The location is quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views of the lake. We would love to come back in the summer to explore the lake. The owner is very responsive to questions and we had a wonderful stay.

Private, quiet, yet close to town
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. We loved how super private and quiet the location was, as this is a dead end street. Close to restaurants, Publix, etc. The cabin itself was really cute and very clean and well kept. We would definitely come back! Only con was that our dogs were scared to go down the spiral stair case, but this was easily remedied by walking downstairs outside on the side yard and entering the bedroom via the downstairs slider. Overall highly recommend!

Great place to get away!
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Secluded, on the lake with a great view, close enough to town, efficiently equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We had so much fun with the canoe and kayak. My son loved jumping from the top of the boathouse and dock. We caught some catfish while we were fishing from the dock. Mark is so nice and helpful with any questions you may have. We would love to stay here again.

great cabin!
Great cabin! Great location. If you're looking for a cosy cabin right on the lake - this is it. The cabin has a deepwater dock and the owner provides a 1 person kayak and full size canoe. The location is perfect for fishing - we caught bass and catfish. The journey down to the lake is rugged so if you have any mobility problems, this may not work. Inside - the cabin is nicely decorated. Smaller kitchen but I wasn't there for cooking! There's a great BBQ place close by (Sherri's). The bedrooms are downstairs - circular stairwell is a bit steep. Owner is super nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Private Cabin with Dock
This is a rustic cabin, very privately located off a quiet dead end road with a dock, swim platform, huge shaded deck, and hot tub. We really wanted to avoid the big marinas and condos so we could have a quieter experience and this place couldn't have been more perfect. The owner, Mark, is the nicest guy and he and family live just around the corner so he's very available if you need anything - he even help me put my boat in the water. Having our own boat at the dock made this place feel like home and Mark could not have been more accommodating. Seniors and those with small children should speak with Mark before booking to discuss the steep terrain and narrow, spiral staircase that leads to the bedrooms.
