Location was perfect for a girls weekend. Property served its purpose and owner was easy to work with. Pictures accurately describe the apartment. It is outdated but we were fine given amount of time spent there. Stairs out back leading to home were not safe. Several boards need to be replaced.

Great location on Main Street
I was expecting that the apartment might need some updating, but it needed a lot more than expected. The twin bed was extremely hard and the bathroom tub drain’s stopper wasn’t functioning. The back stairs off Bench Street were rickety. The living space, kitchen table area, tv access, were all very nice. Great space to catch up after the day.sufficient towels also.

Perfect location!
We've stayed all over Galena the past 20 years and this was the best location so far. The host was responsive to my questions, the key box was easy to get into, we loved having a designated parking spot across the street, and we had enough space for the 4 of us staying there. We liked having the kitchen for storing drinks and food in the fridge and a family room so we weren't all stuck in a room like we'd be in a hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect location.
We were there for 1 night while I thought I had booked 2 nights. My mistake! As a result I received a call from the property owner that her cleaning service was there to get ready for the next guests at 3:00. The property owner was very understanding about what had happened!

Great location, great host!
Our first time in Galena, JoAnne the host was very welcoming and the location couldn't be better, great place to call home base while the friends group ventured around town. Perfect to come back to and rest before walking around all the shops just outside our door! Can't wait to come back again for another night. You need at least 2 nights to see and try it all!

Had a WONDERFUL time, the host was amazing and helped us with parking to make sure we didnt get towed after we parkwd in the wrong spot. Location was right above the Scent Workshop and on main street. Perfectly accessible, clean and Joanne is the best host and very helpful and flexible with arrival and departure.

Joanne was kind and communicative, and the place was conveniently located right downtown, above the shops. The check out procedure was seamless and very accomodating to guests. We appreciated the coffee that was availble in the morning, too! Highly recommend!

My family came to kick off the Holiday season. This was a great place to stay right on Main Street. Perfect for shopping, dining or just being together enjoying Galena! Location couldn't be better! We parked our car in a reserved spot when we arrived and didn't get back in it until we left. We walked everywhere we went. The shower worked but needs some repair, and the kitchen is lacking some basic supplies we are used to VRBO's having. Otherwise we absolutely loved our stay.
