Location was convenient. It appeared to be in a safe, well-lit location. The room appeared to have mildew growing on the ceiling. There was a strong musty odor that was persistent throughout the stay. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioning, but was noticeable even when it wasn’t running. The staff were friendly, but they ran out of most of the breakfast items an hour before it was over and we were told they had no way to restock that morning.

Budget friendly needs upgrades
The hotel was easy to find right off highway. Plus was only a 20min drive to port of Galveston. The check in was easy and they offered $1 bottle water at desk. However!!!!! The hot tub was broken. The rooms appeared clean but smelled musky. Breakfast was just fruit cereals and breads. No hot foods. We ate at Waffle House just down the street. If you are on a budget and can’t afford a 5 star hotel I would recommend, otherwise keep looking.

Nothing of quality.
They should rename the hotel as there’s nothing “quality” about it. Pool was freezing cold, Jacuzzi didn’t work. Breakfast was a joke. They had one waffle station, and some random odds and ends. Nothing compared to a standard quality inn. Coffee was instant and not real. Room felt like a terrarium. Everything was moist no matter what the temperature as set at. Bed was ok. Overall disappointment would never stay here again.
